Valithor begins to think about the coming invasion. He obviously decides that the Southern Kingdoms have no chance against the Xain Empire. More men are needed, and more men will come. Multiple noblemen in Oruthal had promised him a future favor when he slew whatever beast was threatening them. Perhaps he could draw their support. Also, he and Casúr had helped save Aardhemir from the Fire Drakes. The king might be able to assist them.
Valithor and Casúr set out for the north to enlist the aid of some old acquaintances.
OOC: Go to the Pine Forest first. I have something for you to do there. After that, would you like me to do anything with your trip?

OOC: OK. I can't really think of anything important that could happen on their trip besides winning the support of the nobles.

OOC: Do whatever you want with Aardhemir. From my calculations, the most troops they could provide is about 500. Tell me when you're on your way to Oruthal.

{JAMMERS! -8legos- ONLY!} You can most certainly join the RP. It's a lot of fun.
1. Archer/Wizard would be a good option. Knight/Archer is the most versatile combination, but Wizards can be extremely powerful, especially with RuleJJ's new Old Magic.
2. a) I'll decide that once the war with the Xain Empire starts. We have 125 NPC soldiers right now. b) You're in the LotR RP. You should know how to outfit troops.
3. You can have two characters. See pages 1 and 2 of the Lore/Worldbuilding Topic for more details on races and the world of the RP.

1. Ok, I don't really want to be a knight I don't think, but an Archer/Wizard seems cool. What would you think if he specializes in summoning things and enchanting his equipment and arrows? And am I allowed magical equipment? And if so what are the resentments on that? I was thinking have these "Runes" Or something that I could summon my mount or weapons or other things with?
2. Ok, The Xain Empire is more or less the Chinese right? I do. Against normal Eurporion troops I would field pikes and crossbows, with a few cav. But against the Chinese. Since they have large amounts of crossbows I would recommend using roman like troops and longbow. Because the Infantry can from a Tustudo and then break that right when they charge. While the archers can out range the crossbows and should be able to take them out.
3. OK thanks!
4. What mount could I have? I'm guessing no dragons. But would say a griffin or something like be allowed?
Thanks for all your help! I'm looking forward to fighting under you! I'll start working on my profile as soon as I can!
P.S. Could he start in the north and meet up with you and the other shadow knights?

{JAMMERS! -8legos- ONLY!}1. You can have magical equipment if you do the enchanting with a spell of the proper Tier. For more information on Runes, ask RuleJJ.
2. I'm not sure what culture the Xain Empire is based off of. They come from another continent, and they have a very large army. We aren't in battle yet, so we can try to see how they fight before entering battle.
3. You're welcome!
4. For any non-normal mount (anything besides a horse, donkey, or the like), ask at the FAC.
In response to the postscript: That would work. Perhaps he could be an Shadow Warrior who was sent to the North a few months ago to monitor the activities of the Goblins or something like that.

{JAMMERS! -Legobuilder- ONLY!} 1. Could I have done that in the past? Ok I will.
2. I'm guessing they are, or maybe from a contury in Wheel of Time, but Othal is allready based off of that.
3.
4. Ok, I will proably have a Rakan (A small flying lizard from wheel of time)
Ok he is going to be from Othal or what ever its called. Maybe he is a Orhal warchife/captain who lead his troops on a scouting mission to the north where they meet your character and then join the shadow warriors.

My suggestion was that he is already a member of the Shadow Warriors who was sent to the north on a mission of some kind. When Valithor and Casúr run into him, he returns to the South to fight the Xain army.
