As Goatie and his griffin Jednook finish picking up the hurt of their side, Goatie hits upon the idea of capturing an enemy for ransom. ''Look, Jed, there's a rich looking Xain!'
They plummet down towards their target, Jednook ready with a large net they had been using to pick up the wounded, wrapped in his claws.
The Xain tries to fight his way free, but his attempts are weak and ineffective.
The net envelopes the Xain. Goatie and Jednook lift their prisoner high into the sky to further put him off from trying to get free.
The Zweihand forces notice and break through, uniting with them, and mounting a renewed attack on the Xains.
OOC: How long must we continue this until the Xains crumble and retreat?
They are able to join forces, but in the meantime the Xains have maneuvered their way all around and now surround them.

OOC: The Xains were moving most of their soldiers out of the way to either side to allow the Sylvanians through. When there were enough, they simply moved around the back to surround them.

The Forest Band let the Xain come to them. They're careful not to get surrounded. The Kriatoma (and Amion) form their circle again, since it had barely begun to break when the Sylvanians arrived.
