It should include the Carrock and the surrounding area, mainly to the east since that's where Beorn's hall was. Ideally, it'd be nice if it also touched a region or two besides the Wilderland/current Carrock. That'd keep the actual HQ part where it was canonically, but also keep it from being locked in.
In the current iteration of the map, The Carrock is the Beorning sub HQ which includes the titular stone, and the area around including Beorn's hall. Surrounding that is the Upper Vales of Anduin
Could the HQ be ON the carrock? With expansion? Or at least have a fort there?
Not all the time. In the Fourth Age RP, I'm 2ic of Tuvok, and he let's me do pretty much whatever I want, or at the very least consults me. I mean, just about the only order I've gotten is to conquer Rhun, and that was just a small 1,000 MWE deal. Mostly the same with Khand and the original Moria (oh wait. . . Furperson wasn't their that much. . .)

Is the HQ completely surrounded? I think it needs to be touching at least one other region, so that it doesn't get cut off too easily.
1. I will be running a very tight ship as far as units go. I'm a bit of a stickler for canon.
2. I assume I will give you mandates of what troops to use, and where to use them which will be a fluid number depending on what battles I want you to carry out.
3. I have no plans as of yet.
1. For Isengard, it's mostly canon weapons (the biggest un-canon is Larger Shields for some Crossbowmen, and actual contingent of bows, and then a "rhino horn thing" which is essentially for a couple beserkers), although Moria is a bit less numbers.
2. Wait a second, you'll even tell me what UNITS I need to fight with? OK, I have a feeling I might want to find another HQ if that's the case. I have a style that I like to play.
3. OK.
1. I will be making the units.
2. It will be a flexible number. I will put you in charge of battles, and you will command the entire force there. I, too, have a style of roleplaying, if you are opposed to it, than I agree, you might be better suited elsewhere.
Their were some Morian orcs allied, but in general Morian orcs fought for themselves, and occasionally helped Isengard/Mordor to get in good with them, but they were otherwise very independant.
And Durin's Bane was never dealing with Sauron really.
If it did, though, it would almost certainly have kneeled. Sauron is a far more powerful Maiar; he was 2IC to Morgoth. There were dozens of Balrogs at one point. Sauron could easily have smashed Durin's Bane.
OK, just want to make sure I'm correct before posting Bree. We're not going to have a Barrow-Downs region? It doesn't matter to me one way or the other, I just want to make sure the map is correct.
The day of prosperity makes one forget adversity; The day of adversity makes one forget prosperity.
Bear it proudly. Heeeyyyy, you're in the same boat as I am. I'm really looking forward to that break, tho. xP Thanks! Curses, I thought I was older.
Remind me to stop doing that.
Thank you. I was stressing about coming up with units/controlling them and all that, so this really helps. No problem. I think there's some good units there, we just need to tamper with them and maybe change MWE a bit. A nice shiny one that always looks like their having a good time as they annhilate the enemy, preferably. Do you think that can be arranged?
I will *makes pin that says "Mark of a True Tolkien Nerd" and starts wearing it* Yep, its annoying, stupid online classes. I am too, like I said I'm going to CA on Wednesday but I have school to do there. Your turning 17 right? Its close.
Never, I want you to walk into our trap so you will stay here for once.
Than you are very welcome. I'm glad I can take some stress off of you. They are a bit old and they do need to be updated, but I think they help serve as a foundation for the army. Oh shiny! As you wish my lord. But what type of army do you want? Like for Dale I am going to base it of of late Medieval warfare, the time of the "Pike and Shot" But with crossbows instead of guns.
I want one. But I like online classes... Too bad you have to do school while you're there. Have fun. Correct. Yeah, it is.
I don't like the way you're talking, soldier. >_>
(Maybe we should move this part ^ of the conversation to SSSUBC before we get yelled at for spam... )
You're a useful asset to me. The more elite foundation, but yes. Yes, I thought you'd like that. Well, I'm thinking along the lines of Medieval warfare, but like you, a more advanced version. I especially want to utilize the elves' mastery of the bow and more organized fighting tactics, while also allowing for some units especially good in forest environments. I'm a bit unsure of that cavalry portion of the army, but I'll hash that out in my spare time. I'm still in the process of concidering exactly what I'm aiming for, however.
'Tis prominent characteristic that I shouldn't dare ignore. (But really tho, thanks for coming up with that idea. )
Now who is being fancy? (Thanks, I am proud of it though. and that it got accepted. )
Well I'm still speaking English. (You should be, it's a great idea. We never seem to have enough people in the RP, and this really makes things a whole lot easier.)
Just call me Rex, it's easier. And I understand that you want to know what borders there are, but there's a map that Cody (I think ) created (here's the link) that should explain everything. Not to mention, with these boards you can make the topic, and can view/reply to it before it's ever moderated, so you'd be able to get troops to those places before the topic was ever posted. Make sense? So I think someone who controls an HQ farther away should post these topics, though of course we'd still end up fighting for the regions anyway.
I don't see why it'd be a problem. We just need a set start date, and make sure all of the topics are posted before that date.
Okay, I was unaware that there would be a set start date. I thought that someone would just post whenever, and that could be a problem for me, given that I can't be on every day. I don't want my enemy to have an advantage like that over me. You're right, though, it isn't a problem.

*gives you one, then puts the booby traps the bag* [a] I do too. And my 6 O'clock history class tomorrow got canceled, so I get to sleep in. I know, it's a shame. Thanks I should, I get so see some friends that moved out there a long time ago and we never get to see them. Ok I thought so, just checking.
We probably should I'll see you over there.
I'm not sure how I feel about being an asset. I meant more for some of the basic troops, and we can make new elites. Did you get my reference? Ok, I just wanted to know how you wanted to fight. Then do you want to make the Cav? Like I said it's old and needs to be updated. Or I could see what I could do too. Once your done I say we both make unit lists and compare, and take the best from both. How does that sound?
We should probably move this part^ to the HQ, now that it's up.
