With the return of quite a few users after all these years (LMBE Revival?! ), it would be nice to have everyone do a proper explanation of how things have been going since we all dropped off, So I figured we could have a topic to post life updates.
Additionally, with how small the group is now, not everyone may have known each other, so this will also double as an official introduction to anyone you don't really know yet.
With that being said, here's a list of some potential questions to answer. Feel free to answer whichever ones you wish. Also this is by no means a comprehensive list, just some ideas to start conversation.
LMB History
How long you've been on the LMBs (either the original if you were there or LMBE).
How long it's been since you were last active.
Which boards you frequented.
Any groups you were a part of.
How you got into the original LMBs if you remember.
Any fun facts like inspiration behind your username, favorite LMB memory, etc...
Anything else you wish to add for context, like particular topics, stories, or events you were known for.
About yourself
Basic stuff like age, current profession/education status, place of origin, etc. to the extent that you feel comfortable.
Favorite Lego theme and why.
Favorite things to do/activities you enjoy (besides post here of course ).
Particular interests/hobbies.
Anything else you can think of to tell us more about yourself.
Life updates (what's changed since you were last here)
What have you been up to over the past few years?
What are the biggest changes in your life?
Do you still collect/build Lego?
Have you kept in contact with any LMB friends?
Anything else relevant to what's been happening in your life.
If anyone has any suggestions for more questions, feel free to comment them!
Too much has happened aaaaa will try my best here's the essential gist ig lol. It is I, the one and only LegoAgentFigure, nicknamed 'LAF' or 'Agent' exclusively these forums.
My LMB history!
I first joined the original LMB in 2012, but only really got into it around 2014 onwards, and was there 'till the very end (2017?). Was fairly active on LMBE until mid 2019, then was inactive up until just the other day.
Ngl my two favouritest things on the LMB/LMBE has always been RuleJJ's Castle RP events (awesome stuff, also I think I might almost qualify as an OG CastleRP member if I do say so myself), and TheGreatCon's literature masterpieces (always an epic, wild and emotionally charged adventure). Loved hanging out with everyone I met, sorry if I forget anyone I have a goldfish brain lol. Also the Sombreros VS Fedoras was a thing lol. There was a whole lot more that went down but my memory fails me. I don't think I was really known for much tbh lol I was just there.
About me!
New Zealander, Adult boi now, in my early twenties. I don't currently have a profession but my life updates are bountiful with genuine excuse. I love castle lego. Because it cool. I play some guitar. 2D animation takes the cake for interests, with goals to produce an original animated series one day (might look into applying for an art school of some sort) Rn I feel like I should put the nerd emoji here idk why.
Life Updates?! I still appreciate LEGO, however those price tags physically prevent me from collecting. I also wander the internet under many different names but never found another place quite like this.
Other than that life after LMBE has beeeeeeen
Late 2019-2022: Hospitalisations (not for me), family issues, lockdowns, family issues, flood, hospitalisations (not for me), short breather, other issues, legal issues, lockdowns, short breather, legal issues... slightly longer breather?! 2023 incoming: Hospitalisation (all for me this time), hospitalisation, hospitalisation, tiny breather *inhales*, hospitalisation, hospitalisation, a ton of other medical appointments and treatments (I'm a sick boi), BIG family issues.
Biggest changes in my life? Sick boi. And I now wholeheartedly believe in God because if He ain't real then how in sweet pancakes can anyone explain some of the situations I've gotten out of bruh.
My life is a treadmill! Can't conjure up any more details because I either can't remember or just can't.
Welp, I delayed starting on this because I wasn’t sure how you put eight years of happy memories into a few paragraphs, but I sat down earlier and decided to have a go. An hour and a half later, this has ended up only a little shorter than the essay on Victorian policing I wrote last week, (if only inspiration for that had come so easily ) so idk if anyone has the perseverance to actually read my ramblings.
If anyone wants a tl;dr, it’s this: y’all are wonderful and I can’t imagine how a large period of my life would have gone without you in it. I feel so privileged to have had the MBs in my life, and hope to carry on knowing y’all as long as I possibly can.
I first discovered the LMBs whilst randomly browsing google when I supposed to be supposed to be doing schoolwork. I joined on the 11th November 2015, a few days after my 13th birthday. Initially I posted in the ‘Create your own kingdom’ roleplay in the Castle forum where I met users like aburk1, taigonia and mythmaster1 . From there I expanded into other Castle topics, mainly minor one-topic RPs and reading stories before venturing into the official Castle RP sub-forum. I still have many fond memories of joining and eventually leading the Lion Knights and the friends I made in that RP, from people like TheGreatCon , Boomer , LegoAgentFigure and RuleJJ who have made it over here to others like HermanPlatina who didn’t.
In December 2015 I took another step by joining the ‘New RP Jedi Order’, part of the unofficial roleplay on the Star Wars main forum. I made a great many more friends there, from fellow jedi like jedimasterwolf , YouKnowWho , general_han, imalegofan, TG-5102 , 7531Hunter , Stephanie and Samantha Karena to Sith like WizemanII , milbro081399 , Darth Ninion (ngl his username escapes my meory) and Tweed . I would eventually become leader of the Jedi faction there, which has survived in a roudabout form on another platform-that-may-not-be-named. I unknowingly plunged further into the MBs when the Sith from the Star Wars RP hijacked the ‘MB Airplane RP’ on the Community Chat forum. My initial participation in the battle there gave me the confidence to post in other topics on that forum, which I previously avoided due to its scary activity levels.
The first topic I can really remember being active in in Community Chat was Tad 's MB Valentines Party, where I became a founding member of the Party Bosscrashers Crash Bandi-Coots group (I have no idea what the second half of that means, ask Sweets ) who spread chaos and sheep, warring over lemonade through a series of party topics including the St Patrick’s Day Party (which I’m fairly certain was the largest topic I created on the old MBs ). I’m still friends with several of the bosscrashers, especially HannahDash whom I was sorry to lose contact with from 2017-2020 but have talked to fairly regularly for the past three years.

Firstly, of course I will read the ramblings. Secondly, it's Crash Bandi-Cutes, which makes even less sense. I don't think there's anything more to it than the video game Crash Bandicoot? Thirdly, I'll clarify that the group wasn't founded until the St. Patrick's Day Party... in June.
I find it amusing you showed up to the MBs only like 3 days after I did, though it took us a few months to meet. I share the sentiment of the ramblings as a whole, the MBs were a very special place (and pretty much my only source of socialization for a year ) and you're still one of my best friends from there.
You're too kind. ...huh, two errors in the first post, clearly I need to hire you as my professional fact-checker.
Yeah, that is kinda strange. (I think that was true for of a lot of us ) It's hard to believe the Lemonade Wars have been going on for so long, but I'm glad to have known you all this time. Here's to the next seven years of leprechauns and sheep!
Those of y’all who knew me back in 2016 may recall how I wouldn’t stop going on about how superior Britain was to the USA. It may amuse you to know that spending my teenage years talking to online Americans online instead of Brits has left me saying ‘y’all’ in half my posts here, and I often find myself trying to say it out loud as well.
And yes "y'all" is very useful. It's about the only trace of a southern accent I have despite living in this part of the country my whole life.
It's an excellent word. I really need to find a way to live in America for a few months so I can pretend that's how I picked it up and have an excuse to use it IRL as well.

I forgot you were part of the Castle RP! Best RP I've ever been in, mainly due to RuleJJ's perseverance with it.
Yep, he put a lot of worldbuilding and quest-running effort into it. And Ugh never failed to add an amusing touch to things.
Well the difference is I'm right. Yeah, and I think one other user..? I can't remember her name, but I remember she hosted the "Journal of an Enderman", I think, and her writing style was a lot more refined than mine, so naturally I was both simping over her and jealous simultaneously.
As you should! That's girlboss behavior tbh Thanks lol! The end product makes it worth it. It gives me a kind of high, and so I keep drawing/animating looking for that high again.
Now I feel bad for not remembering this random avatar from like middle school. But yeah I definitely get the vibe. Kinda how I was about Con tbh
Hecc yeah it is! Chasing the creative high is relatable dw
I think my brother has the topic archived, so if we look hard enough I bet we could find her username again, and I could brush up on my nonexistent stalking skills. ooh mood. We've all got those kind of people
Fr Forgive me if I forgor already, but are you into art very much?

I heard a bit about the hospitalizations, I'm real sorry to hear it. :/ I do hope you're feeling a lot better. And the last bit is wonderful news! I do hope the sick boi days will come to an end soon, because boy-howdy that all sounds ludicrous to go through.

XD I tend to fill this role in my friend groups.
Oh wow, it has been over seven years. XD If this keeps continuing we'll be able to teach our kids of it and let it continue to the next generation...

Alrighty! So I'm NinjagoZaneFan14 (Otherwise known as NZF14 or just NZF). I joined the original LMBs back in 2015. (I joined the LEGO galleries back in late 2014/early 2015 I believe)
I used to be very active back on the original LMB and galleries. I've been pretty inactive here nowadays but I've popped back in from time to time.
I was usually in the Ninjago boards and Community Chat on the original LMBs. As well as here probably xD
I got into the LMBs because I was apart of the galleries and decided to finally take the plunge into the madness I was seeing from the sidelines
My username came from when I was making my LEGO account so that I could play Legends of Chima online and wanted to promote the fact that I loved Ninjago, Zane and Jek-14 so thus NinjagoZaneFan14 was born xD
I wrote some Ninjago fanfics on the boards. Though sadly did not finish them other than a small short story. I am still working on some now, including a Ninjago rewrite xD
I think one of the biggest LMB specific memories I have is when I was one of the very first users to have the "mini-doll avatar glitch". It was quite the experience Oh and I remember being apart of the "Ninjago Fangurl Hangout" back on the Ninjago boards xD
I also created the original and current "Artist's Chat" ^_^
I'm now a 23-year-old. Still from Wisconsin. And I'm still very into LEGO and Ninjago (Except for *Cough* certain seasons after *cough* certain changes were made). I also love Monkie Kid and LEGO City Adventures xD
I still do lots of drawing, writing and video-making. I'm also a pretty big K-Pop fan.
I didn't go to college and I'm very fine with that xD And I still talk to people from the LMB, as probably some of you are aware
Warmth? in this economy?? we need more fires methinks based tbh. People watching is fun unironically, I like to go to malls and parks and have a snack and sketch people sometimes or just watch them do silly little human things and appreciate that we can do silly things or i should say i used to do that until i started working full time
I'll go get more kindling. I love doing that, it's so peaceful to watch the world go by. Sometimes I just sit with my friends and listen to the conversation without adding anything, unless I have a good joke lined up. I wish I had that problem.
I'll go get the kerosene I keep for my vintage lamps >: ) amen amen thats pretty based. I will say I also like enabling other people doing that too. Like if I notice someone random eavesdropping my convo I'll make sure to drop all the juicy bits nice and clear and in the most dramatic delivery xD Once did that to a poor walmart worker, was talking to my brother about recent drama that took place and she was literally pretending to fold shirts nearby like :0 small town problems? : ( i have to drive 40 minutes one way to my job so i get it if so xD
