I quietly pretended to wipe stuff and worked my way towards where cheatcodes was typing on a custom-looking keyboard and glancing at his many monitors. I quietly watched to see what controlled what while wiping down a desk, which was pretty dusty. ‘Does this guy even take care of his evil lair?’ I wondered. He sat back in his chair, studying the monitor. I saw my chance. Grabbing a bucket of soapy water I lept for the console, kicking open a loose panel and dumping the water inside the computer before cheatcodes could react. It sparked and glitched and flashed error signs, right before it exploded in an incredible flurry, thankfully not killing me. I was knocked away hard and fell onto my back, but when I sat up and saw the broken computer I gave out a “Woo-hoo!”. Suddenly, I felt something hard and fast and very painful hit the back of my head. It took me twenty seconds of laying on the floor before I realised I had been punched. And then I registered I was being kicked by a very angry hacker. And then I noticed I wasn’t being destroyed by a virus. It clicked; he couldn’t control the viruses without the now-waterlogged computer! They would glitch and destroy themselves! I came back to myself and grabbed his leg. He screamed some stuff while I pulled out my weapon, a chatter-teeth launcher, and pulled the trigger several times. He stopped kicking me and started running and jumping around the room, trying to get off twenty or so chattering teeth that musta felt weird but couldn’t be doing that much damage. I heard the sound of a lot of people exiting an elevator and quickly glanced over to see that the MBers had made it! Benboy helped me to my feet as several others pointed and laughed at cheatcodes (In their defence, it was a funny sight!). HannahDash handed me something I recognised as a Stungun. I smiled, aimed at the fuming and embarrassed hacker and pulled the trigger with a flash. He wasn’t any cuter sleeping.
Victory. A hero's goal, a villain's goal. Whoever achieves that goal can often sway the direction of the whole world (or the whole internet). We must be careful, as the people, not to give victory to the wrong powers, starting first within ourselves. As Sprocket007 stood for what he knew was right, I urge you: go, stand, and give victory to what is right, inside you, into a struggling life, perhaps into something bigger. Be the hero. Be a voice. Never give up hope. Always love. Always remember the truth. That is what makes a hero.
