We're constantly making snide but good-natured remarks at each other, and both of us are almost always ready to get into an argument. I think she likes it when I lose my temper, unleash my wide vocabulary, and scream furiously at her. We drive each other crazy.
I guess she spends time arguing with kids who can't argue; you must be very refreshing.
Oh, I can argue. But since my brother has left, there haven't been many people with whom to argue.

There are always LMBE members; one time we considered starting a topic meant solely for burning other people in conversations. It really just started with Sam discussing his thoughts on America with others on July 4th.

"That's where she did it." I point at the direct spot. "She was disguised as a little girl. A fangirl, really. Took us by surprise. She sent a letter, hacked the ship, and took away my memories."
"One person did all that?" Ronin, whom is behind me, asks.
"She had help. From Pythor."
"So Pythor is behind all of this?" I turn around to face him, nodding my head. "What was he going to do?"
"I don't know. All I do know, is that he wanted me. Probably to weaken the team, assuming he was going to take Zane out next. "
"What now? Go to the Ninja?"
"No."
"No?"
"I can't risk hurting them."
"I'll be there to help."
"That would mean you near me all the time. I don't want to ask that of you. I've already asked to much."
"Yeah, but-"
"The answer is no." He sighs and drops the subject.
"What are we going to do, then?"
"We're going to the old monistary. I'll see if I can get Rose to meet us there." He nods and we hurry off.
****************************
I get comfortable on R.E.X.'s floor. Ronin gave me a few pillows to lay on. It helps... a little.
"Wake me up when we get there," I say. He nods and starts to go into the cockpit. When he's in the doorway, he stops and turns around.
"Good luck," he says. I nod. He gives a small smile and walks away. I sigh and lay down. I'm in the darkness as soon as I close my eyes.
"Rose?" I call. "Rose? Are you there?"
Silence.
"I'm sorry. I've thought it over. I shouldn't have ran away." I start lose hope.
"Lloyd?" Rose starts to materialize into existence.
"Rose!" I rush over and embrace her.
"Lloyd. Stop." She breaks away, taking a few steps back. "I know what you want." I sigh.
"You've known everything, haven't you?" She nods. I let out a breath. She stares off a ways.
"I was testing."
"Testing?"
"He... Pythor, said that he knew everything that went on. Gave me a reason not to lie. I answered all his questions without thinking twice. He said that he was double checking. I didn't question a single order." She meets my eyes. "Then I saw you... I questioned everything then. I thought something was wrong with me. It wasn't until I let you see "me" that..."
"Rose."
"I lied to you." She swallows. "I didn't want to, but I had to. I let you believe you were in control, and I shouldn't have. I did it because it kept up the act. That I was still working for him. I have you memories after that one. Pythor never asked a thing. Then I just kept letting you have them. Acted like I never knew. Then I let you go." A single tear starts to run down her cheek when she looks down.
"Thank you." She looks up. "For everything." She gives me a small, brief smile.
"We were to make you one of us. I was to take away your memories and give you the emotions of anger and hate. He let me give you fake "memories". It felt wrong..." She sighs. "Lloyd. Go home. To your friends. I'm not going to do anything."
I draw in a breath before saying, "I will. I promise. I just... don't know what to tell them. How to explain any of this."
"Tell them the truth." I nod. We stand in silence for a moment.
"You can't influence them. Any of them. They have to decide on their own." She nods. Then she holds up her right hand and goes in a small trance.
"I promise that I will not influence nor control Jay, Nya, Kai, Cole, Wu, Ronin, or Misako until the end of time." After blinking a few times, she looks at me and gives an innocent smile.
I wait a few seconds before saying, "Uhh."
"If I make a promise here, like that, I can't break it."
"You forgot about Zane."
"He's a nindroid. Those only work for hackers."
"Ah." Silence.
"You should probably go tell Ronin about..."
"Yeah. I should... Um... thanks. For talking." She gives me a small smile.
"You're welcome." Then I'm awake on the floor. Thinking quickly, I go into the cockpit.
"Lloyd?" I must of made a noise because Ronin asked the question aloud.
"Yeah, it's me." I sit in the co-pilot seat.
"Did it work? You've only been in there ten minutes."
"It did. Turn the ship around."
"What?"
"Turn the ship around. We've had a change of plans." He shrugs and does so.
"Where are we going?" I give and a small smile to myself.
"Home."
****************
It is unknown to me how Ronin managed to do it, but he got R.E.X. programed to fly parallel with Destiny's Bounty. He grabs a "walking" board and puts on the decks of the Bounty and his own ship. I jump and flip across onto the deck of the Bounty with ease.
"Show off," I hear Ronin grumble as he walks on the board. Once he's safely aboard, he kicks the board back on R.E.X. I watch as it flies away, leaving us stranded on the Bounty.
"Where does it go?" I ask.
"Home. I know where to find it at least." I nod. I look up to see that the sun is high in the sky.
"Come on." I turn around and start to walk.
Stop! Almost like a command, I freeze on the spot. Jay is standing right in front of me. I would of ran into him. He let's out a sigh of relief.
Thought you said you weren't going to do that, I think.
Heh. I thought you wouldn't want a bad impression. l swallow, curious as to what Jay would do. I begin to wonder if I should say something.
“Hey, Jay,” Ronin says awkwardly. This was not how I wanted this to go. He looks over at Ronin. I back up a little, giving us some space.
“Jay...” I don’t quite know how to begin. Just speak. I sigh. “Jay. I need to talk with everyone. I just want to explain everything, and... I need help... With a problem...” He looks back at me, giving me a skeptical eye
“Why should-“
“You trust me? After all that, I don’t know. To be honest, I was afraid to come back. I left for one reason, and didn’t return because of another. You all may not believe it, but I just want to explain myself. Though, I don’t think things will never be the same. Not after this, at least.” He studies me for a minute, his face softening. He’s giving me a look of pity and guilt. Then he nods.
“Go in the dinning room. I’ll get everyone.” I give a half-smile at him, grateful.
“Thanks.” We rush off in different directions, Ronin following me.

Why don't you do it? (What's wrong with America?)
Do what, argue? (The LMBEs were decorated for Independence Day, and him, being British, was annoyed and began to defend the war in the British's perspective. Of course, the American users responded back, and in the end we were comparing the great things by the British and Americans.)
