The Room 7B of the mysterious building was large and mostly empty, save for a plethora of monitors attached to the walls. The largest monitor was attached to a large console which took up much of one side of the room. Away from that, in the center of the room there was placed a table, around which two men were sitting across from each other. Emmet, a construction worker hailing from the town of Bricksburg, which he had helped to save from Lord Business' army of evil micromanagers, sat on one end, sipping tea that was brought by his guest, Kai, who sat opposite of him. Kai was was a fire ninja from a village near Ninjago, a city which he and the city’s own legendary team of Ninja worked together to save on several occasions. So what brings these two heroes from separate corners of the world together, to this mysterious room for tea? Surely it must be something of great importance. “He's back,” Emmet finally spoke. “It was only a matter of time,” Kai responded. Despite that fact, his facial expression suggested disappointment. “It was a matter of competence,” Emmet said snappishly. He quickly walked back on the harshness of his tone and let out a sigh. “So are you going to go back there?” Kai asked. “No. No, definitely not. It's too soon. They're going to think I ran away and left them for dead.” “They're your friends, and friends don't like being deceived. Go back for them,” Kai said. Emmet threw up his arms. “I don't know what else to do. I don't have anyone to help me. Not like you, with your apprentice." “We can't help you with this one,” Kai shook his head. Emmet sighed again. “I just don't know what to do.” “Of course not. For who could ever know what to do to save a dying universe?“ Kai paused, rethinking his bluntness. “I do have some good news, though.” “What would that be?” “I might just happen to know a guy."
Hi guys. Not sure show many check this topic, but Gnuehchcaz and myself started a Co-Write a while back. We got the first two chapters up the other day.

*Looks around* Oh hey, a place where we can show off our super interesting stories!
*Cracks knuckles* Lez do this. >:0
A prone figure lies sprawled on the sand, the iridescent waves of the ocean washing over his lifeless body, threatening to drag him back into it's turquoise depths of nothingness...
"BLERHGgjndmv! Ah ew, sand in ma mouthf!"
...
"Where... Am I?"
*Dramatic music starts playing, (preferably dramatic violin music)*
"I am not nothing! I AM SOMEONE... OBVIOUSLY. AND I WILL PROVE MYSELF, TO ALL OF YOU! This. I. Swear."
*Dramatic loud thud noise*
"Why does this need to exist? WHY IS THIS SO HARD?"
"It's always been me. Just me and only me. No one else. All alone. Forever. *Lifts a rubber chicken* And George."
"They need your help. You're they're hero!"
"I'm no hero. I'm just a clam pancake eatin.... Fellow."
"... You were my hero too."
...
*Dramatic music starts up again, only EVEN MORE DRAMATIC*
"Why can't you remember?!"
*Action shots of motorcycle chases, falling, FIGHTING*
"I can't do this without you."
"I AM IN NEED OF CHEESE!"
*Screen blackens*
"Suffering and pain is a part of life. Many obstacles face your path, but being able to accept the pain allows you to face it, to move forward towards a new brighter future. Although it is a lot easier to walk towards the light when you have someone beside you .."
...
"Wow, that was... Super deep. HAHA! I had no idea I had that in me! I'm like, a poetic genius!*
*more action shots, the screen suddenly blackens*
A DAY IN THE LIFE OF THE WANDERING STEVE COMING SOON...
Ok, not coming soon anymore. I wrote parts 1 and 2 of the first chapter soooo.
Go ahead and read it, I mean, if you want to. You don't have to.
Well, I actually already posted my first story part, but hey, I don't think it's through modification yet, so it's not too late!
In an epic tale commemorating both my journey on the LEGO boards, and the many aspects of them we have all enjoyed, it is...
BASICS
(A Gamers Tale)
"Have you ever wondered what it'd be like if, all of a sudden, videogame leaderboards are pasted in newspapers alongside sports standings, and countries would pay you to play?"
"And only the best, equipped with the best, and trained by the best, can ever make it?"
"And then one day, somebody wrecks every standing."
"And that somebody was you."
*a flash of a figure in a green-sombrero on the leaderboard*

Police Detective Jim Gordon stepped into his daughter's room. It had been a long day of work, and he only wanted to see Barbara. "Daddy!" Barbara Gordon jumped out of her bed and hugged her father. "Hey, Babs! Be quiet, it's late." Barbara pressed her finger to her lips and nodded her head. "Go get back in your bed. I have a story I want to tell you." Barbara rushed back to her twin bed and sat atop the covers. "What is it?" "You see, Babs, today would have been your grandfather's birthday. I wanted to tell you about him." A puzzled look came across her face. "I don't remember him." "He never got to meet you, but he would have been so proud of you. In the sixties, he was the police commissioner of Gotham City!" "Isn't that what you wanna be, Daddy?" "I could never be as good as him. You see, he didn't fight crime alone. He worked with some people who he called Batman and Robin." "Batman and Robin? What kind of names are those?" "They didn't want people to know their real names. They had on masks, and they helped your grandpa arrest the bad guys." "How'd they do that?" "They were great detectives. Batman could solve a mystery like Sherlock Holmes!" "Shorelock Homes? Where's that?" "No, it's a... you know what? Nevermind." "So what happened to Batman and Robin?" "They just disappeared one day. I guess they got tired of always helping out." "Will you ever get tired of helping out, Daddy?" "Never, Babs. And I know you won't either." Detective Gordon kissed his daughter on the forehead. "I'm going to bed now. Let me tuck you in." As the seven-year-old girl fell asleep, Jim softly shut the door and started toward his own bedroom. "I wonder what ever did happen to Batman," he said to himself.
