As I mentioned before in the sombrero chat club or whatever, my hat is basically a mini sombrero anyway.

Sombrero is a very specific type of hat. Your's looks like a pirate hat.
I know that, because it was supposed to mean a "Mexican"-type hat to us Americans, but really "Sombrero," isn't specific at all and simply means hat, but somehow we thought that they only wore one type of hat.
Also it's more of a fedora type hat, but you could think of it as a mini sombrero.
