When there was finally a pause in the conversation Copic said. "I'm Copic by the way, for those of you unaware. Also, this is a surprisingly good carpet you have here." "Nice to meet you," said Gavin. "I know right? Surprisingly good quality. You should see the bedroom carpets. They are even better." said Keegan. "So Zephyr, how did it go with that ninja?" asked Gavin. "There's actually a lot to tell you..." said Zephyr putting her hands in her pockets. "But I suppose it's necessary for everything to make sense."
Everyone: "ohmigosh it's you what's going on is everything ok" Copic: "whoa, carpet" XDD

"That's right... Dad was taken by the pack, and, our grandfather broke his legs... Jadyn told me that. Everyone else is hiding out on a farm that belongs to my friend's family." Explained Zephyr again. *** "I'm sorry, this is just so much to take in..." he said looking at the floor. "I know..." replied Zephyr. "I'm coming with you." said Gavin suddenly, "I need to see everyone again, especially after what you told me." "Are you sure-" "I'm sure," he replied, " And I'm going to get ready to leave right away."
Poor Gavin. :/ This is like the last thing you want to hear from your sister when she comes to visit you from ninja vacation.

Zechariah had just finished writing a letter, that he hoped Jadyn would be able to deliver when he went to meet Zephyr. He folded it carefully after signing it and tucked it next to the other letter he'd written. One was full of information on the pack and Alpha's plan that he had already told Jadyn. He figured it was a bit much to expect him and Zephyr to be able to relay all that information by word of mouth alone, and he wanted to make it easier and more clear. The other letter was more personal. It was a letter to Zechariah's family. He missed them all very much. For twenty years, they had been the only people he'd really known. And now to be separated from them was like a part of his insides had been torn out. The sound of the doorknob suddenly turning made him flinch. He relaxed though when he recognized the ginger hair and exhausted expression on Jadyn's face as he entered. "You look like you just went through the Departed Realm and back." Commented Zechariah as Jadyn walked over to the mattress they had brought in for him and collapsed, burying his face in the old pillow and blankets they had managed to find. He muttered something muffled that Zechariah couldn't make sense of. He was holding some fresh clothes that he guessed Jadyn had been told to change into.
Zechariah looked on at the young ninja laying there, barely moving. His clothes were stained, and his face and hands were dirty as well. His red hair was more unkempt than usual. He had been through much over the past few days... Zechariah felt the need to look out for the boy. Although there was very little he could do to help in his current condition, what with his broken legs. Still, if there was anything he could do to give Jadyn a fighting chance, he'd find a way. The pack wasn't kind to elemental masters. Much less a master of fire, who could very well be a descendent of the master who led the attack on the original pack that nearly drove them to extinction. Not to mention one that was supposed to be apart of the prophecy as the fox among wolves. Plus being the son of the red ninja Kai also added a lot more baggage. Zechariah knew, if the majority of the pack got their way, Jadyn would be done for sooner than later. But what more could he do to help him? Then he remembered something, a place nearby that might be very useful. If Jadyn could manage to find it...

Middle of the day, the Toxic Bogs.
Lisa carefully made her way down the small trail that stretched across the Toxic Bogs. Sensei Lloyd, Skylor, and Lisa's parents were all on the trail in front of her. Odd and seemingly misshapen plants and wildlife were all around despite the harsh environment. The acid water of the bog was said to be able to burn through most materials and was very dangerous to touch. Even inhaling the fumes or stepping in the mud wasn't good for one's health. So they had brought along boots that wouldn't be easily burned through. Skylor and Lloyd wore their ninja hoods so they wouldn't inhale the fumes. Lisa wore her's too because her father suggested it would be better to play it safe. He had said. "We don't know how your system will react to this environment, you best wear a hood to be safe." See? That's proof that I still might have been made artificially. She thought to herself. Why was she trying to convince herself of something she told herself never to doubt though? Did it matter what she really was? Was it worth it to wonder what she was made of? She never wanted to know before. Lisa had always been content with who her family was and she didn't want to look anywhere else. Which was why she hated the feeling of curiosity that came with every new thing she learned about herself. Not only that, but it was selfish of her to be thinking of this when around her everyone else had problems and trials that were far more important that needed to be attended to. So, for the time being, she had decided she needed to resist the mysterious call to explore the unknown about these things. However, it seemed the harder she tried to not think about it, the more the subject kept coming the surface through her circumstances and thoughts.

She paused to let a couple of huge purple frogs pass on the path in front of her, which put her a few more feet behind the rest of the group. The sound of some twigs and leaves being crushed came from off the trail behind her. She glanced back to see four large yellow eyes staring back at her. His green scales kept him well camouflaged at first glance, but now Lisa could see the Venomari clearly. "Oh, I didn't see you- " Lisa started to say when suddenly the Venomari opened his mouth and venom short from his white fangs. The extremely unpleasant feeling of the venom hitting her eyes made them water as she stumbled back and fell off the trail. She was vaguely aware that she was probably too close to the acid water. It was then that her sight began to defy reality... At first, the bog around her looked as if it were melting. After that everything went back to a somewhat normal state, then, the trees, rocks, and ground around her began to crack and dark blue liquid flowed out of the cracks. It spilled into the bog, turning it a sickly dark teal. "Lisa!" A voice cried. Was it her father? More familiar voices called to her. When she looked to see where the voices came from, all she saw was faceless shadows of figures that must have been Lisa's parents, Skylor, and Sensei Lloyd. She glanced back over at where the Venomari had been, who now also was only a shadow. Lisa knew Venomari venom caused powerful hallucinations for its victims, but somehow it was hard to stay calm. Her senses were telling her there was danger all around, when she knew full well the only potential threat was the Venomari. She felt people coming to her side, she knew as unsettling as the shadows were she shouldn't fight them, because they were her family. She tried to close her eyes, but somehow she couldn't. She tried to focus on her other senses, but she was starting to feel dizzy and lightheaded, plus her skin felt cold and numb despite being in the warm bog.

"Lisa! Can you stand?" Said a female voice. "Mother?" Lisa managed to mutter. "Is this normal?" asked another voice. Skylor? "No.." Lisa's father's voice replied. Of course, something wasn't right... Most Venomari venom victims could keep fighting and function normally besides their use of sight. So Lisa was experiencing some unusual reaction to it? The symptoms grew worse as the seconds past. Panic was trying to take hold, though she didn't know why. Was it because the blue liquid looked like the liquid that had come out of her hand when she had cut herself on the aurora mineral? Suddenly two figures that weren't shadows stepped out from behind a large tree nearby. They were both dressed in dark navy blue cloaks that covered their entire body, even their hoods cover the upper part of their faces. Lisa waited for the others to notice they were there, but they didn't. Were they a hallucination? "Who are you?" Lisa asked, no reply. There was faint whispering coming from the shadows though. Their cloaks moved slightly with a breeze as they stood there unmoving and not saying a word. Though Lisa was almost sure they were breathing. "Who are they?" Lisa tried to ask her parents, Sensei Lloyd, and Skylor. But before she could hear an answer the teal acid liquid started moving and a giant black scaly head emerged from it. When it's icy blue eyes met her's she was suddenly paralyzed in fear and lost touch completely with the world outside of her hallucination. The head, along with the rest of its body rose from the bog to reveal wings, talons, and a tail. Teal and blue liquid fell off him and onto the ground as the dragon stepped onto land. Lisa tried harder than ever to pull her gaze away from the dragon, but it was hopeless. She was trapped in the nightmare her eyes thought she was seeing.

"Get me out!" she shouted. The two people in cloaks turned to face the dragon as it approached them slowly. One drew an odd-looking sword, and the other drew a circle-shaped weapon out of their cloaks. One was left-handed, and the other was right. One was slightly taller than the other. Lisa's heart raced as the dragon stalked closer to them. Why did she feel like she knew deep down that they couldn't beat it? What's more, why did she feel like she'd seen this scene before? One of the two cloaked people grabbed the other's hand and the other grasped affectionately in return. The dragon spread his dark wings making himself all the more larger and formidable looking. A sadistic and gleeful expression was on the dragon's face. "Run! Get away! As quickly as you can, please!" Lisa tried to plead with the cloaked people. "I don't think you can win this, it's for your own good!" Lisa felt himself being picked up and carried away by the shadows. The dragon stood up on its back legs and then in a blur of black, dark blue, and navy blue the dragon attacked the cloaked people without mercy. Lisa screamed and cried out in protest as she was forced to watch the scene in front of her unfold out of her control. As the shadows pulled her further away from them, the two cloaked people were left lying motionless on the ground, side by side. The dragon looked on with an evil glint in his blue eyes. Lisa desperately tried to look away as she screamed to the shadows. "Get me out! Please! I don't want to see anymore! Make it stop, please!" Lisa felt one of the shadows putting something over her eyes. Then darkness. Nothing but peaceful and soothing darkness...

It's so cool that we're learning more of Lisa's origins! She has always been quite mysterious compared to her teammates. This is definitely going to be interesting.
