She then noticed a a soft glow coming from under a pile of rocks nearby, she crept over to it and removed some of the rocks carefully. The beautiful watery glow of a small aurora mineral greeted her. Lisa smiled, she couldn't place it, but aurora minerals had always made her feel a sort of comfort. She also felt drawn to them for some reason she couldn't explain.
Could it have something to do with how I was made? She wondered. Lisa looked at her hand, something was flowing through her, but she knew it wasn't blood, or not blood like humans anyway. She reached out and touched the aurora mineral, suddenly an image flashed through her mind. It was so quick that all she remembered was two faces, faces she had never seen before. One male and one female. They looked royal, but also kind... Lisa jerked her hand away from the aurora mineral as if she had been shocked. She stood there shell shocked for a moment, until she felt a cold wet liquid running down her hand. She looked at her hand to find that a dark blue liquid was running from it.
" How? That's- That's impossible-! " Lisa exclaimed aloud. She snapped herself out of it and hastily removed her ninja hood and wrapped her hand in it. No one had to know about this, there wasn't time for the team to be worrying about her.
As she made her way out of the mine and the caves her mind was a blur. She was overreacting, the aurora mineral was probably just really sharp, sharper then anything else Lisa had ever encountered... She got onto her four wheeler, Sensei had dropped everyone of at different locations with their four wheelers. Moe was searching the town that they had encountered the wolf warriors at and Nathan near the fest grounds where the Autumn Festival and Zephyr and Sensei Lloyd were looking through the forest, this time right in the thick of it. They would need her help. She got out her communication device and contacted Sensei.
O,O Lisa and aurora...This raises even more questions...

Moe was jogging, Lisa and Zephyr were stretching, and Copic was doing whatever she did in her parents' house. Nathan was processing all that had happened in the past few days. Day of the Departed, the attack from the wolf warriors, following Peak and helping Zephyr escape the pack, helping Zephyr's family evacuate Hiroshi's Labyrinth, evacuating the dojo and going to Moe's house, and now waiting for vehicles so they could search for Jadyn, and Zephyr's father.
*** The nindriod untied the straps that kept the tarp down with blurring speed and then removed the large tarp. Underneath was an upgraded brilliant green jet that seemed larger then Sensei's last one. It had silver tones added and it seemed more shiny. The wings were tucked back for transportation, but if they were out they would have taken up much more room then the road provided.

These are brilliant parts, NFM!! It's so interesting to see how the pack functions and see new characters as well! Alpha and Laveta give me actual chills, and just seeing how everyone dealt with the aftermath of the first book is both depressing yet hopeful. I can't wait to find out how everything unfolds.
I also absolutely adore all the character interactions and dynamics. In short, AWESOME and MOAR.

Zephyr was driving her four wheeler through the forest. She had needed a lesson from Sensei Lloyd on how to drive it before they left, it had taken a lot longer then she had hoped, but now she had mostly gotten the hang of driving it. She was getting more comfortable with controlling the vehicle and was speeding up as she went along.
The pack's den has to be around here somewhere! She thought as she recklessly dodged a tree. She went a little faster, to fast this time, she was headed right for a nearby tree! Suddenly panicked that she might crash she brought the four wheeler to a jolting halt right before hitting the tree. She was almost thrown out of her seat. Heart hammering and shaken she processed her near crash. For a moment there she hadn't felt in control, she could have gotten critically hurt and there would have been nothing she could do-! But that didn't happen, she was fine, she had saved herself before it was to late, she just needed to be a lot more careful... Zephyr glanced around at her surroundings, it was frustrating since all the different parts of the forest looked so similar. Suddenly she heard the sound of soft footsteps coming toward her. A pack member burst out of the foliage like bullet and began to run! Zephyr tried to turn her four wheeler but it was in a hard spot to get out of so instead she jumped off it and began to case after him.. She was gaining on him, but he managed to stay well ahead of her. The cold air stun her lungs as she inhaled. She suddenly had an idea, she stopped and picked up a rotting log, she then tossed it with all her might using her element to add extra power to the throw. It flew through the air and hit the warrior in the back, he stumbled on a root and fell, catching himself on his hands.
Zephyr took advantage of this and rushed at him. He glanced behind him, eyes widening as he saw her coming for him. The pack member tried to stand but as he did Zephyr came down on his back with both her feet. He flipped around knocking her off, she fell into the wet leaves on the ground. The wolf warrior stood and attempted to run again. She lunged for his right leg and grabbed it, tripping him again. Her hood was wet where her mouth was because of her breathing. The warrior rolled gracefully out her grip on him. He then ran again in the same general direction he had kept trying to escape to. She chased him again but this time he was just out of her reach. She continued after him until the warrior suddenly stopped and turned around to face her. She was going to get him this time! Zephyr concentrated her gravity to an invisible energy ball that would surely lift this pack member off his feet. But right in her moment of approach the warrior's hands suddenly were set ablaze.

As they collided her gravity lifted them both off the ground and over a ravine which Zephyr hadn't even noticed. In the same moment as they flew through the air the fire coming from his hands turned blue, smaller and rounded. Zephyr completely lost her focus and the two of them fell to the ravine below. They rolled down the steep incline and into the dirt like sacks that had been thrown down a hill. Zephyr sat up in the dirt disoriented. She looked around her. They were in a steep ravine with trees growing around it on all sides. There was a huge rock structure in the center, it wasn't a rock structure though Zephyr realized. It was the den...
Her gaze fell to the warrior on the ground a few feet away from her. She only knew one person who could use the element of fire currently. Jadyn, she had finally found him. But why was he dressing like the pack and hanging around outside of the den? He got to his feet and brushed himself off. There was mud stuck to his gi and hood, as well as some smeared across the left side of his face. His handsome face was mostly covered by his ninja hood besides his eyes, and a some red hair stuck out from under his hood. Zephyr hastily stood, she was lost for words. After a moment she managed to say.
" Jadyn... I- we have been searching everywhere! What happened to you? " He didn't meet her gaze as he replied in a horse voice.
" It's to much to explain here... You need to leave, now. " He dropped his voice to a whisper. " At least you know where the den is now. " In that moment pack members started to emerge from the den.
" Come on Jadyn, we need to get out of here! " Shouted Zephyr. He looked hopeful for a moment, but then shook his head in disagreement.
