It was time to see who would answer the call. I messaged LegoAgentFigure first. He was the best warrior I knew, and he owed me one.
Ninjagofanmam was a samurai of great repute, who happened to be wielding a blade I made as a primary. Anyways, she was a package deal. If I got her, Tigress and Neko would be along for the ride, her two silent sidekicks.
Darkclaw and MissKuku were next. I only hoped they’d see it, they had disappeared months ago. They knew Boomer well.
I messaged Tad and his apprentice Eli, because why not? They were literally down for anything subversive and dangerous. Risking life and limb needlessly was a hobby for them.
As a final shot in the dark, I shot Ojo the call. I got the feeling he’d answer.
With that out of the way, I turned to my weapon rack. It was time to pick one. And man, what a selection!
See, I made a lot of weapons for orders. But occasionally, I wanted to make something that nobody ever wanted. They always looked nice hanging on my wall.
My eyes rested on a huge scythe blade attached to a link chain. Massively destructive, and a level five tier. It would do quite nicely. I pulled it down, wrapping the chain around my hand. I felt the weight in my hands, incredibly heavy, but balanced. Luckily I wasn’t in an immersion suit or I’d never be able to pick this baby up. I might need to tone up regardless, my gloves were still registering a lot of drag.
A knock. I walked over to the door, and ripped it open.
Boomer was on my doorstep. His skull face broke into a huge, creepy grin. “It’s on, then?”
“This better be some kick-butt lore ore.” I growled.
Hey it's me! I sound cool. And there's Tigress and Neko and so many others!! Awesome!
I took the scythe whip outside to practice. I didn’t feel like trashing my shop right now. Boomer watched as I swung it experimentally around, trying to get a feeling for it, before I sliced my own legs off. It banged against the side of my right leg, and I winced, despite the fact that was my metal one.
“C’mon already.” Boomer taunted. “Hit something.”
I swung it hard, releasing some of the chain as it spun out. The momentum was crazy, I had to brace my feet to keep from being ripped off them. The blade swung in an arcing semi-circle, and then embedded itself firmly into a tree. Boomer clapped enthusiastically. I yanked at it. “Help me get this out of here.” I said.

An hour later and the ground looked like a tornado and an earthquake had tried merging in the area. The ground was torn up in chunks, the trees were all nicked and scarred, and I was sweating like a faucet, both in game and in real life. I hoisted it over my shoulder. “I feel like I got this.”
“I feel like I wanna stay behind you when you’re swinging that thing.”
“I’m not sure how safe it’ll be back there either.” I said, and took one final swing at a medium-sized tree. I put my all into it, leaning into the blow and letting my power channel through my muscles. I casually lopped the tree in two, and then just stared dumbfounded as it tottered there, before falling towards me. I finally scrambled out of the way, dragging my scythe whip with me. It crashed behind me. I stared first at my hands, then the tree, then my weapon.
“Maybe we’ll fight some evil trees, and you’ll get to use that move.” Boomer said, clearly impressed but trying his hardest to hide it. “C’mon, lumberjack, let’s go see if anybody has shown up.”
