Well tbh this is more my friend group from high school which I still talk to over the phone...my current friend group consists of more ISJs (who pretend to be Extroverts Xp ), which/whom I seem to get along with fairly better...still a big adjustment however...

True... but Essa's personality is not as expressive as I am. And so, to be honest, I can't tell if she approves or disapproves of you at this point. She could be playing along, testing your reactions and what not. Or she could be seeing this as another debate she needs to resolve. The best way to know something is to ask her directly.
