Anders replies after a short pause, and slowly, as if saying the words for the first time. "I am a soldier. This is a place that soldiers go." His accent is not one she recognizes.
"Oh. How long have you been a solider? Who do you serve?" *She peers at him sidelong, hoping she is not being too nosy*
"All of my life. I serve no one now." Abruptly, he stops in front of the wide doors of the adjoining building. "Here is the stable."

"Oh. I've never done anything like that. I'm sure it must have been hard at times. Many thanks" *She stables her unicorn and gives a piercing whistle of a few notes, like a hawk cry* *A large falcon lands on her gloved wrist* "This is Estho. You don't think the innkeeper will mind me keeping him with me do you?"

"Ah wonderful, I can't stand to be parted from him. Thank you for showing me the stables. If you ever need any help I'd be obliged to do the favor." *She smiles than moves to reenter the inn*

"I would have trivial news about the kingdom at large. Some might say I've spent the last four years in a cave." Gartt finishes eating and drains his water.
"Well I was most recently in the Forest, it is mostly emptied these days. Though there seems to be more activity in it's shelter of late. I would find out more for you if I sent my friend Estho to look. I am going to go to the Endless Sea next." *Tathar picks at her food a little bit before eating in no hurry*
"Very well. I will be at the Tavern in one week's time. Simply tag me there if you find anything worth knowing." Gartt rose to leave. "Enjoy your super."

"Of course, good evening." *she smiles and returns to her meal as he leaves* "Well Estho, looks like you'll be doing a bit of work as we travel then. Don't shift around so much, if you mark the table the innkeeper might become upset at your presence." *she huffs and rolls her eyes* "Look at me, talking to a bird. I must sound crazy."
OK, RuleJJ , I (finally) put together a rough draft of a bio for my RP character.
Name: Azril Leifson
Age: 16
Hair: Sandy blond, scruffy
Eyes: Chocolate-brown
Race: Human
Skin Tone: Pale, with faint freckles on his face, pretty normal for a human
General Description: A young teenager wearing simple, though not unsightly, peasantry garments; grey leggings, large black boots, forest-green jerkin over gray canvas shirt, and a leather baldric and belt slung over his torso to hold extra belt pouches.
Skills/Class: Not much; he can shoot a crossbow his dad owned, and can hunt game with simple bow and arrows in the forest. He knows a good bit about forging metal in blacksmith shops, not to mention cooking and baking delicious treats and keeping a vegetable garden.
Items: A walking stick his father had before he passed away; a map of the kingdom Morñornia(?) and some of the surrounding territories; his backpack carrying some apples, a roll of bread, a flask of water, some tools, a saddle blanket, and a pocket watch he built himself.
Backstory: Azril was born and raised as a simple peasant in Morñornia(?) with his parents as a single child, and often helped his father in his blacksmith shop of their small country village. He’s interested in building things and mechanics, and is sure that there’s a future in engineering and that he can create something that’ll change the world. When he was fifteen years old his father passed away, and his widowed mother struggled for money to feed herself and her boy before marrying again. Azril’s stepfather was demanding and abusive of him, and after a year of living in misery, Azril ran away to find a new life for himself. He hopes to be hired out somewhere as an apprentice blacksmith or even a servant, although privately he’d rather do something more exciting, like being a warrior and inventing new gadgets for his medieval world.
How's this? Any adjustments I need to make? Any details I overlooked, forgot, or added in unnecessarily?

OOC: You do need to pick a class. I would recommend Archer for this character, since his only class-related skills seem to be archery. Are you planning on joining the Mercenary Village?

Gartt exits the inn. "Well this was not what I had planned, but just the same I've had food and a moment's rest." He looks up and down the street. He spys a patch of woods not half a mile off and glides off in it's direction. "I really should seek rest in a more rejuvenating environ than the woods again if I want to be at my best. However it's over a week until my job so the inn is bound to have emptied a might in that time." Gartt now exits town and enters the sparse woods outside.
