IC: *Climes out feeling the fresh air on her face. It feels pleasant.*
OOC: It could have been much worse. The storms mostly missed the area, but they did a lot of damage in other places.
IC: She quickly notices the many, many wolves prowling the area, but she has little time to look because the refugees are being ushered towards the forest. Fortunately, most of the wolves are occupied by something going on elsewhere on the battlefield and the soldiers with them manage to fight the rest off.
OOC: Oh wow that sounds rough.
IC: *Huddles close to the people near her, trying to take it all in.*
OOC: Was Alpida attacking Blaze, or just the wolves surrounding him?
IC: An icy white wolf leaps on Alpida's back, breathing icy blue fire on her. Blaze makes a lunge at it with his purple flaming fist.
OOC: She had intended to attack Blaze, believing him to be responsible, but seeing this new threat, her attention has pivoted.
IC: Alpida ducks to avoid as much of the blast as she can, rolling to the ground and attempting to break free from the wolf while hacking at it with her sword.
OOC: Is Alpida still having to fight off the curse? How strong is it?
OOC: The wolf was fighting Sobald and Bandy. Are they still in the equation?
IC: Together they are able to dispatch the wolf quickly. However, there are other wolves advancing, each more mutated and grotesque than the next, with unique powers to boot. A wolf that looks like a zombie with a missing eye tackles Blaze and pins him to the ground attempting to maul his face. Although Alpida feels the curse getting steadily stronger, she is able to fight it off without much effort, though this is largely due to her superior resistance. She now spots an opening leading to the Dark Wolf.

OOC: Assuming her resistance is that of a normal human being's, and it was just a scratch, she should be able to easily contain the curse...if she wishes to do so.
