OOC: Unless there's anything you want to do in the night, I'll skip to morning in a little while.
IC: Lady Valerie reaches her room and enters to rest. Later that evening, once the castle is asleep, Valerie rises from her bed, wrapping herself in a long dressing gown and lighting a single candle. Seating herself at her desk, she stares at the parchment for a moment before dipping her quill in the inkpot and swiftly penning a brief letter. Rolling it up and applying the wax, Valerie carefully slides the topmost drawer of her desk out of its brackets, placing the scroll at the very back of the cavity before replacing the drawer and returning to her bed.
OOC: That's all I want to do at this stage, so we're fine to skip to morning.
OOC: Okay, great.
IC: In the morning as she awakens, Lady Valerie learns that a representative from the Forest Band has arrived. He is currently talking to Lord Urbien.
OOC: I want to allot a bit of travel time, so I'll pick back up with this in a little while.
OOC: Cool, thanks.
OOC: Alright, we can move forward now.
IC: Captain Tiberius arrives late at night and is immediately ushered to a place to sleep, along with the soldiers accompanying him. He is woken early by a servant and rushed to the chambers of Lord Urbien, who welcomes him with breakfast. "General Tiberius, isn't it? What brings you to my castle?"

*Tiberius explains everything.*
OOC: What does he explain? That he is here to discuss the future of the Ruins and their respective sides or that he is here to undermine Urbien and support Valerie?

OOC: The former.
OOC: Good plan.
IC: "Well, I would certainly love to help you. Let me take some time to consider what you have told me; I will have some servants show you around the castle." Tiberius is led out by a pair of quiet servants, who bring him into the hallway and begin taking him slowly around the castle.

IC: Lady Valerie dresses quickly and eats a light breakfast, before heading in the direction of Lord Urbien's study.

Your master...Tell me about him.
The two of them exchange glances. "What would you like to know, captain?"
