"Then let's cool it with the flames so I can bring you to him."
"I HAVE BEEN SHOWN NAUGHT BUT DISRESPECT SINCE YOU HAVE LAID HANDS ON ME! I DEMAND TO ALSO SEE MY WIELDER AFTERWARDS-!!!"
Xavic kneels. "I apologize for Jeorge's rudeness. He is . . . unaccustomed to dragon kind. As for your request, I have not the power to grant it. Once you have talked to Gor'El, we may speak with Lord Amvion and see if something may be arranged."

"....Hmph."
The halberd stopped creating new flames
"Thank you. How would you like me to carry you out?"
"Very well." Xavic gently lifts up Kiril and carries him up out of the castle and into the courtyard, where Gor'el is waiting.
"...."
"....Grandson." The blade speaks, completely unaware of who Gor'el is as a dragon apart from the fact he is part of Kiril's lineage.
OOC: So, it took me a very long time, but after slogging through archives I was finally able to find some information on Gor'El. And I think I can construct a pretty interesting interconnected web with all of this. How many children do you think Kiril had, and how old is he? Also, I was not able to find a single post where he spoke, so let's say he doesn't talk much.
IC: Gor'El is a relatively small dragon with azure-streaked black scales. He leans down towards Kiril, head cocked. "How?" he asks simply.

OOC:Weeeeeell in my experience with fantasy settings, dragons tend to have large clutches with many eggs, and on-top of that live several generations.
In a certain popular MMO for example, which happens to have rich dragon ecology, a conservative estimate for a single dragon's personal clutch of eggs may lead to like, 50 whelps, max. Maybe more or less. Though I have no idea how you wanted dragon fertility and longevity to work in this universe.
In any case, Kiril is likely extremely old given the enchantments that imprison him inside the halberd that bears his name.
IC:
"Well, when a male dragon and a female dragon love each other very much, or indeed, when they just want to have kids-"

OOC: In this setting, dragons are very rare and their numbers are declining, so I think they'd probably only have up to five children over their lifetiems, usually not more than one at a time. I'd estimate their natural lifespan at usually a few centuries. Kiril would have to be at least 1,500 years old. So too old to be the very young Gor'El's grandfather properly, but certainly an ancestor.
IC: The azure markings on Gor'El's face glow bright as he flushes with embarrassment. "No, no, I mean, how do you know that? Who are you? Who am I?"

OOC: I imagined Kiril as a distant ancestor anyway
IC: "I am Kiril. The father of our flight from six generations ago. You are Gor'el. One of if not my only latest heir. You serve mortals. Why?"

OOC: Okay, great.
IC: "The Dragon Knights are my family. Xavic is my family. I mean, you're my family, too, I guess, but you didn't raise me."
"You cannot deny your heritage, though. These foul Humans treat me as a mere object to be stored! I am greatly vexed and offended!"
Gor'El nods. "It is not right."
"King Darthraxx would never have done that," adds Xavic.
"The one you called 'Amvion' and 'Jeorge' have separated me from that foolish Minotaur that wields me! I demand proper care, respect, and attention, as the ancestor of your pet!"

"And that is why we've brought you here," says Xavic. "Now, there's no way Lord Amvion is going to let you go back to Ackar any time soon, but what accommodations do you think would be appropriate?"
