{JAMMERS! -RuleJJ- ONLY!} "I'd like you to prepare a small escort to ride with me to the Pine Forest. It must be small and discreet; I do not wish for the Forest Band to learn that I am going. They will be watching the forest and possibly this castle, so I will travel lightly and go in secret; the only people who can know I am gone are you, the guards travelling with me, and my servants, who have already been informed so as to help keep up the cover. I would like to leave after dusk tomorrow, if you find men by then. Ensure that they have cloaks to give the appearance of ordinary travellers."
Ackar, having started the day with a nice bowl of mac n' cheese, decides to seek an audience with Lord Amvion. He goes over to the wizard's residence, assuming he has one, and knocks on the door.
Lord Amvion's chambers lie deep in the castle, in the most luxurious section. Ackar would find the door guarded by two Dragon Knights.
"Who goes?"
"'Tis your fellow lord, Ackar. There are certain matters of which I am unaware which I wouldst like to speak of with you, as I hear you are more knowledgeable than I on said certain matters of which I have been strangely uninformed upon. If thou wouldst pardon the intrusion it would please me greatly to come in and trade words as comrades."

OOC: Sorry, should have made that clearer - it was one of the guards speaking.
IC: "Lord Amvion is currently busy. He is not to be distur-" He is cut short as the doors swing open and Lord Amvion sweeps out, coming to a halt when he sees Ackar. "Can I help you?"
"'Do you know many minotaurs, guardsman? It is I, Ackar. I have come to speak with Lord Amvion on an important matter."

OOC: Edited my initial post in that case
IC: "Lord Amvion --" Ackar says, pulling a piece of parchment from his person, "I have recieved reports that several of our troops are stationed near some ruins in the Pine Forest. I am largely and strangely unaware of this matter and I wish to be better informed upon it. May we speak?"

IC Lord Amvion raises his eyebrow. "I believe what we are doing is classed as `speaking`, but yes. As for the troops, they were stationed there by King Darthraxx after the fall of the Bear Kingdom to prevent another army from taking over the ruins and staging an invasion of the South from the Forest."
OOC: Shamrock there is a bug that makes it so that sometimes a post will be unquoteable. It's happened twice to you in this thread, actually. Is anyone else seeing < followed by a string of vertical letters on Shamrock's posts?
IC: "Haha." Ackar said, quite dryly, not even laughing. "Yes, you're hilarious. Your rudeness aside, Amvion, I suppose I don't see a problem with holding the ruins. That being said, is there anything else I should know about that place? For instance, if any of our neighbors have a claim to the ruins in question? if we are to use them as a place for repelling invasions 'twould likely be prudent for me to know ahead of time who, if any, might take offense to our presence there. In fact, I'm starting to have half a mind of paying the place a visit. What say you?"

OOC: Yeah, that happens. I just always type over top of it, and it turns out okayish.

"The only ones with a claim to them are the Bear Knights, who happen to be dead. As for people taking issue with our presence there, the Shadow and Lion Kingdoms are leaderless and in no position to go to war. The only dispute that has arisen is with a band of brigands living in the Forest. And no, I doubt it would be wise. Now, if you are quite finished?"

"I'm starting to think that you don't want me there." Ackar pauses, staring down Amvion, arms crossed, the crimson gaze of his cyclopean helm seeming to stare into the lord's soul. "Good day, Amvion."
Ackar walks off, his cape flourishing like in all the movies (forgot to mention he had a cape... oof).
{Jammers -self reference-}Ackar gathers a small number of knights under his command and has them join him on a journey to the Pine Forest to scout out the ruins.

OOC: It will be a little while before Jeorge will be ready. I'm trying to get a few other plot lines moved along first so everything will be all lined up.

A small group (About 15) of soldiers stealthily enter the kingdom and hide in the same woods Harfor and his men hid in when they faced the Xains. They set up a small camp, post a look out and wait
