I would like to inquire about the rules and submit a character sheet. I'm not sure about the current story for this roleplay, however, in the original MB's I was a Tinkerer who would be charged with fixing carts and whatnot. (Not sure if that role is allowed here, which is why I am also asking. If not, I'll change it accordingly.)
Here is my character sheet:
Name: Cuppersance (Tilly) Rose
Age:23
Hair: Generally dark brown with highlights of caramel blonde.
Eyes: Color Violet. Has partial heterochromia in the left eye, and thus appears violet/orange.
Race: Human.
Skin Tone: Olive, with a small birthmark on the right cheek resembling an imperfect circle .
General Description: An athletic young woman who wears a simple light brownish green hooded cloak over beige gambeson armor. Across her cloak is a baldric and around her waist is a simple leather belt with pockets for herbs. On her wrists are leather gauntlets.
Items: Chiefly, a small cart with a roof that acts as a travelling workstation and house. Carries a spiked pavise and sometimes a long sword, but prefers to travel light. Will frequently use misdirection or harmless pranks in order to get out of a bad situation.
Skills: She is a wonderful cook, but somehow fails at making the perfect soup. An itinerate tinker by trade, she also knows basic farming and foraging skills. Her aim with either an bow or crossbow is average, but her camouflage and costume skills are noteworthy, earning her the nickname "Manycoats."
*** I'll save the backstory/class until I know more about the lore in order to keep continuity.
Thanks again for keeping Castle RP alive!
Welcome back! I'm RuleJJ and I run this RP right now and manage the storylines. We're a little slow right now (partially due to low membership, partially due to my irregular posting), but we're working towards some exciting stuff. You can absolutely be a Tinkerer! The "classes" are really just guidelines that we try to use to prevent people from making super powerful characters. Your profile looks awesome!
Is there an HQ you're interested in joining? If you'd like, I can explain the current state of each of them and the recent history of this world.

Yes, an explanation of current events would be helpful if it isn't too much trouble. As for HQ's, my original character did not officially join any HQ during the RP's original run, but acted as a nomad that provided reconnaissance for the "Heroes" whenever she took a tinkering job for the villains or was used as a decoy in order to sneak into enemy camps. (Unfortunately this was not fully realized due to the eventual shut down.) Certainly a chance for some fun plotlines, if interested.
However, if this breaks lore I'll resume whatever HQ you deem best suited for my character.

You don't need to join an HQ if you don't want to. Your current plan sounds good.
Here's the current situation: There are four HQs, the Lion Knights, the Dragon Knights, the Shadow Warriors, and the Forest Band. The first three each control a small kingdom, and the fourth roams the woods north of them, although they do have a fortress now so they're more settled than they used to be. The Lion Knights are being headed up by Lord Urbien in the absence of a proper ruler. He is hoping to gain permanent power and has sent an expedition to the Abandoned Fortress to investigate the new residents there. The Dragon Knights are led by Lord Amvion, who has been very active recently in quashing dissent to his regime. A point of contention is their control of an old, long-abandoned castle, the Ruins of the Pine Forest, in the forest, which the kingdoms are forbidden from holding land in by an ancient treaty. Amvion wants the three kingdoms to agree to overrule the treaty. The Shadow Warriors are traditionally ruled by the Black Knight. After the current Black Knight's disappearance, there was a period without a leader before someone claiming to be the current Black Knight's predecessor arrived and took control. He has taken a somewhat tyrannical approach and now fights against the last of those who would rebel against him. All of this is against the backdrop of a horrible invasion that happened a year ago, during which the kingdoms were badly damaged, the armies were crushed, and the leaders of all three kingdoms went missing.

Please let me know if you have any questions!
Thank you for laying out the setting. I've decided to start out at the Tavern, as it seems like a fitting place to begin one's adventure. Though if you need some more characters in a particular HQ, I'll make sure Rose heads there next.

I've struck upon a fine idea that ties in with the lore of your RP story. It will feature a few of my NPCs, as I believe they're called, a few of which you've already met at the Tavern, General Beel and Sir Varlamane. For now, let us say that Rose has traveled some distance from the Tavern and much time has passed since the events that last transpired here. One inquiry though, is there a forest between Mercenary Village and the Tavern?
If you wish, I can send you the storyline as it will need the assistance of Shadow Knight HQ & Mercenary Village characters in order to be carried out in full.
EDIT: To keep the flow of each thread, I have decided to delete my previous posts and move them to a more fitting thread. For what I have in mind, the story also expands to the Plains HQ, but if that HQ has been left empty for a specific purpose pertaining to your overall plot I will refrain from posting there.
As of now, the planned steps of Rose's journey are:
~The Tavern
~The Forest HQ(Or whatever location is available that contains a large forest...)
~Heading for the Plain HQ to return the Minotaur Child before taking a detour to Mercenary Village.

Sounds exciting! Feel free to do whatever you want in the Plains; there are minotaurs there, but its isolated location behind the mountains means it is rarely involved in the events of the RP. If you have questions about the minotaurs, I can answer them. I'm not sure I've gone into much detail on their society in Lore posts. Please do send that to me so that I can help you make it happen.
I saw some of the questions you asked in the posts you deleted, so here are my answers. First, the pinned and locked topics are not the most up-to-date versions, as I made new topics some time ago to better organize information. The Lore topic (maps included) is here and the Rules topic is here. Both can also be found on the first page of the Castle Roleplay forum. Most of the information in the Lore topic is on the first two pages, but there is also some information about another continent on page 5. With regards to anthropomorphs, the only ones that exist in current lore would be the minotaurs. If there are others, they would probably be found far to the south or southeast.
Also, so you are aware, with my current work schedule, I will likely only be posting once a week, on the weekends, for the foreseeable future.

Thank you for providing a detailed explanation, and I understand completely. I myself will be quite busy as well, due to things in my schedule picking up again. As for any other inquiries, within the NPC Profile section of the "Castle RP Rules/FAC/Voting Topic", the link provided leads to an error message, so I will be working from what is relayed in the remaining post.
One rule that caught my eye states that a user's RP characters cannot come into direct conflict with one another, however, since General Beel and Sir Varlamane are only NPC's to open a path for Rose to enter the overall RP story, would they be excluded from this rule? I do not intend to use them any further after her introduction into the overall narrative unless upon request.
Second, for NPC Stars, I am unsure on how I would rank each character due to the limited information on Minotaur Society & the status of Beel & Varlamane being outsiders who are not affiliated with any specific HQ.
{JAMMERS! -RuleJJ- ONLY!} Now having read up on a few things, I will leave here a general outline of the Minotaur side of things to see if it is acceptable. These events precede the Tavern incident, of which I will edit a tad to fit into this storyline.
~
The Minotaur Elders have convened in an effort to expand trade, however, they are unsure if war is still brewing due to their isolation. While deliberating on whether to send out a small team of scouts to learn of the current climate, Rawfthor, a proud Minotaur chieftain, offers his services.
Entering the fray is Sir Varlamane, who impresses the Elders with his tact and wealth. Securing Rawfthor and a few other Minotaur families as "apprentices," he takes them on a journey to enlighten them in the ways of the wise, which would bring great pride to the Minotaur people. Unfortunately, Sir Varlamane has tricked the Minotaurs into believing that a fearsome beast has prevented him for carrying out his noble quest in enlightening others, and that being is Cuppersance Rose.
~
Apologies for the spoilers, however, I did keep quiet a few in order to maintain some level of surprise. It would be very helpful to know more about Minotaur lore, however, from what I can infer, it seems the Minotaurs have relied heavily on their isolation for protection, thus the story beat of Varlamane moving in and taking advantage of their elderly Great Chieftain is a possibility.

I'm going to immediately contradict my statements and make a couple quick posts here, since these are just rules questions and don't require me to think much.
NPC profiles are defunct.
You are more than welcome to ignore that rule. It is no longer relevant.

{JAMMERS! -Shadowind93- ONLY!}The Minotaur clans of the plains and desert, each led by a Chief, are as follows:
- Cruladir: Characterized by wide feet and strong legs, led by the brash and ambitious Damhan (male), who held the Great Chief position very briefly before being unseated by Sairse. - Finnasoch: Characterized by black fur, led by the older and somewhat embittered Aobheann (female). - Finnasnet: Characterized by white fur, led by the slightly dim Fionnlagh (male) who was loyal to Damhan. - Irebagar: Characterized by short tails, led by the young and bold Rionach (female). - Matrifacla: Characterized by somewhat sharpened teeth and a slightly feral nature, led by Faolan (male), who is a bit of a wild card. - Sulegal: Characterized by pale, greenish eyes, led by the elderly Odhran (male). - Pintalit: Characterized by colorful painted markings, led by the wise and powerful Sairse (female), who is now the Great Chief. - Alsulor: Characterized by living along the cliffs, excellent climbers, led by the adventurous Daith (male). - Ganamitir: Characterized by living in the desert, which results in their thinner and paler fur, wider hooves, and smaller stature, led by the hard and sometimes cruel Ide (female). - Clochbrisir: Characterized by living in the mountains and a greater control over mineral goods, led by the self-serving Goban (male). - Cosluutha: Characterized by their founder's famously crippled leg, led by the very young Tobin (male), who has been eager to prove himself. - Smulathan: Characterized by slightly large heads with wider snouts, led by the kindly Neasa (female). - Nertmor: Characterized by large size and a boisterous manner, led by the intelligent and calculating Cathair (male).
Some of these leaders may have turned over if any were smashed in the war (only Damhan and Sairse are confirmed to still live). Note that many of the leaders are middle-aged or young (including Sairse), as leadership is traditionally transferred by victory in single combat (although it is not uncommon for skilled leaders to remain unchallenged even as they age). Overall, the war brought the clans together, even if not all originally wanted to join, and there is high loyalty to Sairse, including from Damhan and those who were loyal to him. Also living with the Minotaurs is the elf Amion Orn Melar, formerly of the Forest Band.

{Spoiler}{JAMMERS! -RuleJJ- ONLY!} Fascinating lore! Well, would it be in character for the Great Chieftain Sairse to accept Sir Varlamane's offer?
Alsulor, along with benevolent Neasa might be the type to allow a few of their tribe to go along with Varlamane for reasons of adventure and peaceful exchange respectively, while the more fearsome chieftains such at Ide might begrudgingly accept or outright refuse.
Initially, I wasn't sure if Rawfthor should be a chieftain, and originally had him as a proud warrior. The plot relies heavily between him and his young son Gwailgur, but if you give the okay for one of the unconfirmed living chiefs, then maybe Rawfthor could resume chieftain status. Otherwise, I'll just keep him a warrior. Really, I'll only need just a dozen minotaurs, and they don't have to all be from the same clan.
So, is this a yes? Or would you like me to make some edits?

{JAMMERS! -Shadowind93- ONLY!} Possibly. I don't think she would trust him, but she wouldn't reject him outright necessarily. If he focused on the right individuals as you describe, I imagine he could succeed.
Pick whichever clan you think would make sense for Rawfthor. He can absolutely be a Chief. I give you free reign to follow through with this however you would like, as long as you don't go too wild.
{Spoiler}{Spoiler}{JAMMERS!

Will be taking extra care in writing a seamless side story. For Rawfthor, I've chose the clan of Irebagar. For a slight description, imagine the original Lego Minotaur Figure, but with its mane designed like a Viking Beard. (Image Below is rough idea of his normal attire, minus the head piece.)
A rough idea of his armor:
For Gwailgur, his normal attire is made from sod-like material. (Image Below for a rough idea, minus the head piece, cape, gauntlets, and shoulder guards.)
