I'm sorry about vanishing so much and for so long - I can't promise to be here as much as I used to be, but I will be trying to check in here at least two or three times a week - that will be going down in May and June, but should be going further up again in the Summer.
Welcome back! I understand; Con is currently the only active RPer, so it's no big deal at all. Do what you can, and I'll keep going with the storylines I have ready.
Name: Raven Daknight Gender: Male Age: 18 Description: A young peasant who trains with a bow and arrow. He left home when his village burnt down. I don't really care which affiliation he goes to.

Welcome!
1. Your character would be an Archer class (for semantic purposes). 2. Do you mind if I add a little to his backstory? I want to say that his village was burnt down one year ago, when the Xain Empire attempted to invade from across the ocean. They were repelled, but the invasion left a lasting impact on all the Southern Kingdoms. 3. I'll send him to the Mercenary Village.

Thank you.
1. How complicated are these rules? I'm not much of a battle RPer. 2. That's fine. 3. Then it is there I shall begin.

Hey, you made it! Welcome!
Thank you. What can you tell me about this roleplay?

1. That's pretty much it, besides troop training, which you don't have to worry about. The character classes only exist to prevent characters from being overpowered right off the bat.

First of all, I want to welcome you back. Your Forest Band was a huge influence on my time in the Castle RP both on the LMBs and here. It was a great surprise to see that you have returned after so long, and I'd love to welcome you back into the RP. That being said, I should apprise you of the current situation there.
Following a war with a man named Lord Enguerrand, the Dragon Knights took over the Ruins of the Pine Forest. It turned out this was a violation of the Treat of Kasp, but the body responsible for enforcing said treaty, the Kaspik Wardens, was too weak to do anything about it. There was then another war, with the Xain Empire, that did serious damage to all of the HQs, with the possible exception of the Forest Band, who have come to be led by Harfor, following the losses of their four previous leaders, Ranwell Arch, Sir Egolius, Ugh the troll, and Lexos Daris Carlin, in various events. After the war, some Xain survivors escaped to the north and joined various armies, including the Order of the Dove, which seeks to achieve peace by driving out all those they deem as invaders, namely orcs, goblins, and trolls. As the Kaspik Wardens were made up largely of said species, they were an obvious target for the Order of the Dove, which proceeded to decimate them. One of the survivors, a woman named Kalena, went on to join the Forest Band. There, she managed to convince Harfor to help in the effort to drive the Dragon Knights out of the Ruins. She also gained the allegiance of Gidie, a sorcerer who was formerly in the employ of Lord Enguerrand before aiding the allied HQs in their battle and eventually taking over management of the Ruins as a member of the Dragon Knights. Gidie has concocted a plan to remove the Dragon Knights from the Ruins and aid the Forest Band, who have now positioned soldiers in various places to complete this plan. Currently, the leader of the Dragon Knights, Lord Amvion, who doesn not know of Gidie's true allegiances, is at the Ruins talking to Gidie.
I suppose Ranwell would come into this as he makes his triumphant return to the Forest Band after being lost in the Mountains and has to grapple with the changes that the Forest Band has undergone in his absence.
Now, it is important to note that Shamrock, who plays Lord Amvion, is unable to be very active on LMBE, and so this plot line has been moving very slowly. Winn, who plays Harfor, has also been a little absent as of late, so there may be a little difficulty in seeing this all through, but I have a plan and I will continue moving through the plot when I can.

Thank you, Rule - for the welcome and for all the work you put into the Forest Band and the RP. Also, for the summary of all that's taken place.
It's good to be back
As for Ranwell, I don't mind where he begins again - whether returning to the Forest Band straight away, or wherever you think he would be of use the most, if at all, in the RP (before eventually returning to his original HQ).

You're quite welcome, for all of it.
You bring up an interesting point. He could just rejoin the Forest Band, or he could be one of the refugees at the Abandoned Fortress and help the Lion Knights when they come there. Either way, you may not be able to do anything for a while, as Shamrock plays critical characters for both of those. I suppose I could think of something for you to do in the meantime, whichever way you go. It's up to you.
Forgive me for asking, do any HQ's need a leader? - E.g. the Shadow Warriors? I'm not sure if they have one so far (?)
Well, the plot line I'm doing for the Shadow Warriors requires me to play their leader right now. They'll likely need a new one by the end of it, though, so if you join them and play your cards right you could get there.

Cool
You see I'm thinking about creating a new character or two, and wondering if there are any spaces for leaders, or generals perhaps. Are there any available spaces for generals in the Shadow Warriors HQ?
