But then we'd get a new one, so it wouldn't be all bad.
That is true. I went on a long walk around campus today, and I learned that the abandoned dorms area is a lot bigger than I knew. It was very interesting.

Abandoned dorms? OuO Those sound like fun.
I don't think they would be super fun inside (since, you know, they're probably full of dust and don't have their HVAC on), but they are a really interesting place to walk around, just a series of identical abandoned buildings surrounded by other, functional campus buildings.

If anything is broken-down and abandoned here, the college kids get into it.

Oh, people definitely go in there. How do you think I knew what it was like inside?

How old/rundown are they?
From the outside, they don't look too bad, just dark and empty; I don't know about the inside. What I have noticed is that a lot of the bricks in the pavement around them are cracked or broken. It's clear that the place is not really being maintained (which makes sense, since they're supposed to tear it all down at some point).

How old are they? We're still using buildings from 160 years ago now.

Why the brick isn't the college still using them then?
Because we don't need them.
Wow. Here my college is shipping juniors off-campus for lack of housing, and you guys have practically brand-new dorms you're not using. Maybe we could arrange an exchange...

You should just send someone to move our old buildings over to your campus.

Just need a helicopter, some flex-tape and ratchet straps.
