I do recall once, in the Ninjago forum, someone posted a topic with a title somewhat like; "Which Ninjago Character Do You Find the Most Attractive?" It was fairly popular, and the responses were fairly disturbing. One user exclaimed after several pages of conversation and whatnot with something like; "You guys are pretty sick to be this attracted to LEGO mini-figure toys. " The topic hadn't been out for very long before the mods decided to lock it down. The majority of us were glad they did.

In particular there was one user in particular who I think most BIONICLE forum posters can remember who was... particularly naughty. He would invariably post either complete nonsense, blatant insults, or a mixture of the two, with no explanation.
Oh, and he intentionally didn't spell anything he wrote correctly.
It was a very bizarre time for us all... except for those who apparently enjoyed his trolling.
