I've got good news, everyone! Pictures of the new sets have finally been leaked after we've waited for 8 years!
The most notable set is the Monestary, because it looks amazing. The original set was decent, but this not only has a bigger and more complete build, but it looks beautiful, and comes with all of the ninja and Master Wu. My only problem is that the front and back are disconnected, but that's really a small thing. As for the rest of the sets, the Earth Driller also looks better than the original, although it was a good set, not to mention it has a giant stone warrior and more minifigures. The Storm Fighter also seems to be an improvement, but a little weird from this view. I'm not impressed with the Samurai Mech so far, since it looks so much smaller than the original and doesn't look as good. I can't make out any details on the Golden Dragon, so I won't judge it. The Ultra Dragon hasn't been leaked yet, but surely will eventually.
As it turns out, those leaked spinner pieces weren't fake after all! Also, the new spinners seem to focus on being customisable, just like the old spinners from 2011-2012. That'll attract people who thought the old spinners were the best because of that aspect. Another interesting thing is that the Golden Weapons are back, and actually look more accurate to the TV show. Some of the sets also have mysterious small structures. So does any of this tie into the story, and if so, how? Only time will tell.
The new Overlord figure has been fully leaked! It looks great, and so much better in this image. Also, we now know what the helmet looks like, and he didn't get the extra pair of arms by wearing the Mask of Vengeance. Sorry, Sam8432, but that theory of yours was still pretty good.
Oh, and Monestary Training was leaked. It's not that exciting.

Alright, now we can all discuss the new leaks. What do you think of these so far?
Just a little slow on responding, that's all.
I think the Golden Dragon looks horrible, but since we can't see it very well, I will suspend total judgment. The Storm Fighter looks good except for the fact that the wings seem too short. The Earth Driller, I think, is a vast improvement over the first version, although I'm not crazy about the Giant Stone Warrior. The Samurai Mech... is lame, and small, and a bad representation of an originally fantastic set, but somehow I don't hate it anyway. The Monastery was very exciting at first, but upon realizing that the front and back halves weren't connected, I was more disappointed than anything else. Moreover both halves are just facades as far as I can tell and have no depth for rooms, which is unfortunate.
Monastery Training is small, but somewhat interesting all the same. =P

I here they're called the "Legacy" sets. And I agree about the Monastery and Golden Dragon sets.

Sorry, my weeks have been getting a little bonkers.
I can't see most of these leaks where I live, sadly, but enough so that I can say that the Monastery looks pretty awesome, though small it may be. It's got some excellent detail from what I can see. And oh shoot, the Overlord's back.

The Monestary looks amazing, definitely something I could see myself getting down the road. I think it's cool they finally made a giant stone warrior too. The spinners seem cool, and it's also nice that the golden weapons might be more accurate.

So, that figure that looked like the First Spinjitzu Master leaked again, but now with a beard, making it clear it is actually the new Wu. There goes the theory about the First Spinjitzu Master returning.

I've seen all the minifigures, but I can't see images of the sets anywhere. The minifigures look cool, but if the sets tie into the story, I have low expectations for season 10. It pretty much seems like Day of the Departed 2.0, except with the cool Yang lore swapped out with yet another Overlord return.
If the sets don't tie into the story, and are just a throwback to previous seasons, I wish they'd made an Overlord dragon set instead of another Ultra Dragon.

Season 10 hasn't been confirmed yet. Honestly, I think that these sets can be tied in with the story well, but I don't know how it'll be handled. I have ideas for how they could appear in the show, but I'll save those for later. Anyway, it's not just old villains returning, but also old vehicles, the golden weapons, and the golden ninja.

My theory is that the Oni will turn into the old villains. Also I really don't think the sets will tie in with the story. The sets are most likely just to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the concept of Ninjago. The Overlord images are clearly Garmadon possessed by the Overlord, which means it's a redesign of the possessed Garmadon in 2012. So I really don't think the sets will have anything to do with the story. Also season 10 will be in the second half of 2019 and will have it's own wave of sets (Antonia is confirmed for the second half of 2019).
I totally agree about wishing they had made an Overlord dragon set instead of an Ultra Dragon.
Since as far as I'm concerned no one has mentioned this, I might as well point out that on the 2019 poster/shirt it shows the original five ninja except for Zane. Is it just me, or is this extremely odd? If they were going to have four ninja on a poster/shirt, shouldn't those four ninja have been the original four? I can see them not putting Nya in the artwork, since she wasn't a ninja during the first seasons, but why wouldn't Zane be in there? Tommy Andreasen seems to like putting Zane through some harsh situations, seeing as how he's died twice. Zane has been a pretty big part of seasons 8 and 9, so something significant to Zane could occur. So far, the four-part special could go any way. It's possible that episode one could focus on the Jaya bit. Episode 2 could focus on the original four ninja. Episode 3 could focus on Lloyd. And episode 4 could be the big finale. Tommy Andreasen stated that episode 97 is his favorite, and the most intense, episode in the series. This means that something big could happen. After all, it did get pretty intense in seasons 8 and 9 for a kids show. So, anything could happen with Zane. It definitely wouldn't surprise me if he dies.
