Yeah, what's with that? Does he get the half-mask-thing because he's some sort of advanced master or something?
It could be like the Skybound, Day of the Departed, and Hands of Time sets where some ninja have the half-masks in random sets, but they all keep their normal masks in the show.

I swear, I'm not joking.
Admittedly, they do look cool, except for the fact that their head molds look way too big. Also, we have a new Sensei Wu with a new outfit and a printed braid! That's also nice to get.

I hope those are fake. I'm really tired of snake villains. Although I guess if these snakes were the Vermillion reborn or something, that would kind of justify another wave of snake bad guys.

I wonder why they didn't just make the fire villains samurai as well. Well, maybe then they'd look too similar to the original Samurai X, because of the color scheme.

Besides the fire mummy snakes (seriously), the ninja will also be fighting...undead ice samurai. Yeah...but anyway, I love what the figure designers done here. Not only are the prints really detailed, but we also get really cool molds for armour and weapons. One of them is a warrior with an elderly-looking face, grey armour, and a giant sword, who I think could be the Ice Emperor. Alternatively, he could be a character called General Vex.
Speaking of villains, we have an image of a new fire snake that doesn't look mummified, is mainly coloured black, and has a tail mold. I have a feeling that this character is a lot more important than the other fire mummy snakes (I really wish we had their proper name), though there is no way to tell what role this character will have.
Finally, we have new pictures of the ninja, but the most interesting ones are Jay and Zane. Why? Look at their hoods. They seem to have elemental energy coming from them. These seem a lot like they come from the Spinjitzu Slam sets, but I would honestly prefer fully energised forms, like the NRG and Airjitzu minifigures. These look like Jay and Zane just grew elemental hair.

The two villain factions are probably some main plot point in the story. But yeah, Ninjago's writers seem to have a serious thing for snakes. It's getting kind of ridiculous.
