Wouldn't the Oni be able to just rewrite everyone's stories to make them deceased, or loyal servants of the Oni? Because I remember back in season 5, a writer spilled ink on Dareth's scroll, and that caused him to get covered in oil, I think.
Maybe destiny can only be affected by the writers themselves?

Well, this is it. The Hageman Brothers have written their final episode, and are leaving the show.
While it is sad that they will no longer be involved, the 8 seasons that they worked on have left a huge impact on Ninjago. Bragi Schut has written some episodes for Seasons 8 and 9, and he has already shown that he does know how to handle the characters and story without ignoring character development and continuity *Cough*Hands of Time*Cough*. Even they have said that Ninjago is safe in his hands, and of course, most of the crew members who have worked on Ninjago for the past 8 years will still be around. However, the Hagemans should still be credited for many of the things that made past seasons so great, and their influence should not be forgotten.

Yes, I actually saw them in person two days ago at my local LEGO store. Honestly, I'm unimpressed: their torso prints are all the same and their predominant black color is lackluster. The pack does come with five black katanas, though, in case you needed any more. Anyone who's been buying Ninjago sets for any length of time probably doesn't, though.... =P
