Temptation and Joy ran to the cosmetics room to get those beards as fast as they could. As they dashed through the backstage, other actors and actresses moved out of their way while trying to see what was going on.
The audience members were confused and anxious whether the appearance of the two cloaked men was an act. The two cloaked men looked at each other, nodded their heads and shot the top of the curtains. With those two shots, the curtains crashed down, revealing the rest of the cast and backstage. Everyone screamed and chaos broke. Audience and cast members ran for the exits.
Temptation and Joy had reached the cosmetics room but heard all of the screams from outside. They were alone in the room.
"We need those beards now. I'll block the door." Temptation said as he moved a chair under the door handle. Joy opened the chest of beards and picked two beards that matched their hair colors.
"I got them. Let's get out of here." Joy said, but they suddenly realized that the only way out was the way they came in. "We're trapped." Temptation said.
"How did they follow us?" Joy asks. "I don't know." Temptation replied, looking for more things to block the door.
As temptation added another chair at the door, a sword jabbed right through the door, almost hitting Temptation. He recognized its blade as it got retracted.
"They found us. I don't know how, but they found us." Temptation said as he backed off. "They must've seen us come here during intermission." Joy replied.
Another sword jabbed right through on another spot in the door and got retracted. The door was almost about to break off.
"I have an idea." Joy said as she ran to the cosmetics table with and grabbed a large jar of white makeup powder. Temptation was curious of her plan, but he was afraid to ask.
Finally, the door was smashed to pieces after the cloaked men's swords had been jabbing at it, and they saw Joy and Temptation. Joy threw the jar at them and they blocked it with their swords, but the jar exploded on impact and makeup dust flew all over them. The cloaked men turned white and were coughing terribly. When the dust had cleared, Joy and Temptation had escaped.
Anyone noticed how in all stories theater crowds tend to panic easily? Does their high classiness make them more high strung? XD
I can attest....the makeup attack was 100% correct in it's portrayal.
