"Well I'll show them..." Peterson said as he rolled up his sleeves. Then another actor grabbed his shoulder. "Do at the end of the show. We wouldn't want to make a scene in front of everyone right now. Would we?" "Yeah, you're right. Let's continue the show! I'll deal with them later..." Peterson said as he went to prepare the next act.
"Oh, Peterson!" Joy asked.
"What is it?" Peterson replied. "Where can we find some fake beards?"
"Fake beards? Why do you need fake beards?" "Umm.. it's for a later scene."
"There's a large chest of drawers in the back corner of the cosmetics room. You'll find them there." "Thank you!" Joy replied excitedly. She turns to temptation and whispers, "Great idea." Temptation blushed.
For the next half hour, Joy and Temptation continued being a part of the play, with more romantic dance sequences, cute dating scenes, and a sword fight with other antagonist characters. The audience was amazed and stunned by their sword fighting performance. Joy and Temptation smiled at the audience, but also took quick glances at the two cloaked organization members to see if they noticed.
From what Temptation observed as he acted, those organization members as a part of the audience were just as emotionless and straight-faced as they are in the organization. They didn't cry or feel anything of love and joy even in the presence of it in this play.
Temptation and Joy did one more romantic scene before the curtains fall and intermission began. Everyone in the audience got up to stretch their legs, use the restroom, or chat. Meanwhile, Joy and Temptation went to the cosmetic room to find some fake beards.
They open the drawer and found a large variety of beards. There were bushy beards, combed beards, braided beards, and food-stained beards. By the time they looked through half the beards, intermission had ended, so they put the beards back in the drawer.
Joy and Temptation began the next act with a romantic dance sequence and saw everyone had returned to their seats... except the organization members. This made Temptation really nervous. He wanted to look at the audience some more to see if they had moved seats, but he couldn't as he was dancing.
Yeah. Have you been in any other plays, mini dramas or musicals besides the Christmas play?
I took part in a small Easter skit that was put together purely by the kids, no adults involved, and years later we joined a drama camp. You?
Cool, what was the drama camp like? I've been in a Christmas play, I was stage hand in another one for church. I've been in several mini dramas and musicals in 4-H, five of which took place on stage, some more then once. My favorite was one I was in for 4-H derected by a girl older then me who I look up to this day. It was called " The Kidnapping of Lyn Jones " and it was about two detectives trying to figure out a case of the kidnapping of Lyn Jones. I was a NCIS agent and I had a few good lines. My sister was in it too, and so was a handful of people who I mostly already knew, but I get to know them all really well because we had practice every week for nearly half a year I think. It was awesome. ( Sorry, got a little carried away talking about that there. ) What was your favorite play you ever did?
