Scarecrow lands on his back behind Iron Man, having been tossed by Olsen. Getting up, he approaches Iron Man and Captain America with what seems to be a small pumpkin bomb.

IC: *Overdrive forms a nanotech shield on his arm which blocks the missiles. The cannon starts firing at Iron Man. Overdrive tilts his hand and part of the nanotech flings Batman off of the Batmobile.* "See ya, Mr. Bat."
IC: *The flames stop once Captain Clay reaches the ground. An AIM Commander salutes him.*
Cortin starts charging towards the AIM Commander, sharpening his arms into blades.

OOC: Sorry, brief mix up after you started shooting at Captain Clay. Since I was briefly in control of him I thought you were the enemy when you started shooting at him. My bad.

OOC: Sorry for the rushed change, I knew I wouldn't be active for the week and so needed a way for everyone else to do stuff while I was gone. What is unclear about about the team divisions?
OOC: I didn't understand until ultra posted. I thought the teams were based off of each person's superhero name until then. I still think it would be a good idea to start each team on one side of the arena though.
OOC: That's okay. I suppose that starting on either side of the arena would've been a good idea, but I think it's a little late for that and this way we're already into the action.

Danek drops his staff and lowers himself to the ground. Sitting cross-legged, he looks up to the King of Asgard beside him. "What are you doing?" asks Odin. "Why should I partake in this chaos, passing for entertainment?" "Danek...," Odin pauses, weighing his words. "I have spoken many a regrettable thing to you. I may never understand why you abandoned the Asgardians, but these people need you now. I... I apologize, Danek. Let us put aside our differences and go into battle one last time." "Why apologize, my lord? You have only ever spoken the truth in my presence. It is true that I abandoned the Asgardians... but I'm afraid that I cannot be redeemed now." Odin finds himself with that six letter word stuck in his throat, one he has never been forced to say before. "Danek... please." A slight smirk crosses Danek's lips and quickly fades away. "You old fool, you never learn. The strongest fighters are not those who throw themselves into violence, but rather those who hold true to themselves." The Silent Searcher scans the battlefield, witnessing the battle unfold before him. "Perhaps you could sit with me, and try to understand why I left Asgard." Odin shakes his head, disappointed. "You could have been better than this, Danek." The King follows the rest of his team into battle.
