Con fidgeted with his new outfit as he waited in a green field for, something. He didn't know what yet. He could feel the hot eyes of the twenty other agents standing in a perfect line nearby. They all looked stern, rigidly at attention, and watching him. Con was by no means flabby as he had worked hard all his life in Ireland, mostly with horses, but these agents made a intimidating picture with how lean and hard they were. Con snapped upright like a rubberband as footsteps crunched up and his new drill sergeant marched onto the scene. The petite woman strode right up toe to toe with Conner and leaned down into his face. "What is your name." Conner stuttered out his name. The drill sarge sneered and glanced at the line of agents, who somehow looked even more dangerous and sterner in the presence of their commanding officer. "Well, we've got new blood." They all responded in perfect unison. "Sir yes sir!" The sarge spun back around to put her nose in Con's face, eyes narrowed. "Exactly! Those three words will make your life as easy as it get here." For some reason everyone smiled wryly at that. "My given name is Emily but you WILL call me Sir. You WILL respond to EVERYTHING with Sir yes Sir. If you do not you will wish you HAD. I am fair but you will get no slack, is that clear?" Con nodded wordlessly. "What?" Con nearly screamed "SIR YES SIR!" Dead silence reigned and Con wondered if he had over done it, but then Sir leaned back and marched away.
Absolutely amazing, definitely worth staying up late to finish! I loved reading this story! So many feels and action parts, along with loveable characters, very well written! Can't wait to start the next one.
Thank you so very much! ^v^ *blushs* shoot you didn't have to stay up, thanks. :3 I hope you enjoy it just as much! ^v^
You're welcome! It wasn't to late. Me too, I'm sure I will.
*decides not to tell you there's a third one now too* Yeap. The fact that you didn't is probably why you're confusing during some story parts but also I dunno if you want to because I'm going to redo it at some point.
