Ok here's Lloyd as Sensei Lloyd from Grvitation. He's in the first suite he's in when he first gets introduced to the story. He's holding a book, either his journal or The Book of Spinjizu written by Wu.
There's not even the slightest chance that's Garmadon's book? Very nice drawing nfm!
Anyone here have an old art piece that you drew a while ago that you used to be super proud of? Well I do! And I'm pretty sure most of you do as well. I was thinking about redrawing an old digital thingy that I did on my phone.
This thing:
It was done last year. I see many a mistake, but I remember being super happy and proud of it, so I thought I'd redraw it to see how much I've improved, and I was wondering if anyone wanted to join me. ^_^ Just find an old piece that you'd like to redraw. You'll be surprised to find how much you've learned and improved. *Throws confetti*
i said improved twice oh no
Very nice Jay! What device do you use for this? I've really been wanting to get into digital drawing, and I don't know a thing about it and what type of equipment works best.
BlueberryJayPie Well, I found an old drawing I made of the Warriors characters Firestar and Graystripe from 2014, and I re-did them today--but in color. It's kind of amazing to see how much my style's changed over the years. o-o A re-drawing challenge is a great idea! ^.^

Your style has really progressed! Both the drawings are very nice.
Yw! Lovely! I wish I could see those made up creatures one day but I'll still be more than happy with what I do get to see of your work. : D (Indeed I realized after I had already posted that this was a copy. XP XD)
Well here's a drawing I did of some creatures I made up.
They are called pintos, these are called blue pintos because of the blue markings under the eyes, but there are many other breeds too. Their tails, legs and feet are covered in scales while the rest of the body and head are covered in horse-like hair besides the wings which are of course covered in feathers. ( Not all the breeds have wings though. ) They are about the size of a dog and lay eggs in nests to raise their young. Most pintos live in groups made up of family and friends. The groups may vary in size and a group of pintos is called a pod. Pintos mostly eat fruit and the environment they live in varies for different breeds.
These look like they're straight out of How to Train Your Dragon, like Night Fury level.
"I've been waiting for this!" ~ Crossbones But like, in good screaming. Sorreh I've been away so long, I just needed some time.. ('^ ^) Look forward to seeing it!
Guess I shouldn't have dropped that building on your face.... Although...I think you look pretty good all things considered. OH yey! : D I'm super nervous though because I always judge my art so harshly. XD That's okay I'm just glad you're back. : D Sorry I didn't do it that day...stuff came up... but I have them right here. :33
So without further ado here is your B-day present. Qrow. (^v^')
And this is what it would look like if I had left it black and white. I know it might or might not look unfinished colored that way but it's just my...."different" style.
Sorry I can't make them smaller.....
Yo, Essa, not sure if somebody else has said this, but we can't see your beautiful images. 3:
Happy birthday. I hope this makes up for missing it last year.
also i didn't mean to give you a tiny girly sword, it looked bigger and broader in my head when i was drawing it >.>
I don't think I've commented on this yet, I think I liked it coming through moderation. The colors were amazing, so vibrant! The composition as a whole, very well done!

Thanks so much! It's funny to get used to your art style and a few years pass by without your consent and you look back and realize "whoa what even"
I love it, especially the multiple arms for the effect of motion. It also has the anime style, right?
Thanks! Kinda like that, yeah. Manga and anime are pretty much the same style, right?
Yep, they pretty much are the same art style. Did you learn it from your Manga-style drawing book (if I remember that you got one for Christmas or something like that) ?

You remembered! Yes, exactly, that's the one!
Nice! Looks like you learned pretty quickly! I recognized the mouth as a Manga style after seeing some older Anime of a similar style.
