But then he came back in the prequels or whatever and delved deeper into it, so maybe he just wasn't read for it at the time. I dunno.

Nope, thankfully. Then again they could have called for all I know, but I wouldn't know since I hate to answer the phone.
I know, I started getting a bunch of spam calls after applying to one place, so I stopped answering the phone...it kind of negated the point of applying.
