Eh, not really, I finished HP and the Order of the Phoenix in one day, in around 3-5 hours. I could never do that in a WoT book. Besides, aMoL pulls up the average a lot, it's half the length of the Bible, and the two before it, ToM and tGS aren't much shorter
Wheel of Time has a much more "in-depth," detailed, "slow-reading" kind of a style though, if you know what I mean. HP is something you can read a lot faster and still get what's going on.
Glad to know I'm not the only one who reads it slower than other books. I kept thinking I should be getting farther through it than I was. A week would go by, and I'd only read 200 pages. Meanwhile when I was reading Inheritance or Skulduggery Pleasant 5 I tore through about 300 pages a day.

I agree, I can read rangers apprintince books in an afternoon. But I take much longer on WoT books, partly because I keep getting distracted by YT and here.

Probably because less of a context needs set, since it's set in a real time in recent history. WoT on the other hand is a completely unique world
I never thought about it from that perspective, but yeah.

Same here. I can finish an HP book in a day if I'm left to myself, but WoT books are taking me about a month or two on average.

I think it just needs to be fatter, and a constant green colour You are asking a colour blind though...

I just googled it, and there doesn't appear to be an official color. However, many of the depictions where the wheel and snake aren't just one solid color show the snake as golden.

That is awesome! The snake is shown as red on the inside front cover of the books. Also, I love the Jurassic Park dino head on the snake.

Thanks! Ya, it definitely needs to be fatter; so does the wheel...time to buy some new parts...
