I finally finished Book 3 at 12:00 AM this morning.
I meant I am taking a break to read Tolkien instead.
I take it the ending was engaging enough to stimulate you to remain awake for an amount of time that was adequate to complete the book?

Indeed it was; but I felt as though I were traversing through Tel'aran'rhiod by the time I finished, and I expected to wake and find I hadn't finished the book after all.
