Strange things to see this up, but since I barely heard of the LMB demise, I'm pleased to see some sort of replacement. I trust that it is in good hands.
I guess I'm dead as I never saw the Fantastic Four reboot:S:P.
Except for that, we don't talk about that movie.
Or the Ghostrider movies or Elektra and arguably Daredevil (movie) not to mention The Punisher (though that one is halfway okay) and Blade:Trinity, nor the Captain America movies from 1990 and 1979, or Nick Fury from 1998, any of the old Hulk movies, the Fantastic 4 movie from 1994 and the two in the mid 2000's... just to name a few that don't count. They've had a lot of misfires before the MCU kicked off
Also, Fun fact, the Men In Black movies are a Marvel franchise as well that no-one seems to realize is Marvel.
Yeah, I would say 30-40% of movies are R. Yeah, the general rule of thumb is you should bring you're ID if you're under 25. I don't know, I am actually fine with it. Some R movies aren't bad, but if you want to see it you can just go with an adult. Some are pretty bad though and if I was a parent I wouldn't want my 13 year old seeing it:S.
Gee... That's the rule Australia has for adult drinks. That's like classing them as equally bad or something. I get asked for ID everywhere I go. Are Tarantino movies R? Used to watch them all the time as a kid. In saying that, I'd probably steer clear of those sorts of films with children.
Adult beverages are 21 in the USA, and we ID EVERYBODY. I sometimes serve them at the amusement park, and if a senior citizen doesn't have an ID, no drink. SO STRICT. I don't really know any of his movies, but I assume some of them are if you think they would be.

Huh. A lot of places I see say that they only ID people who look under 30. I guess that's different in different parts of the country.

I know we ID at the park, and while my dad's coworker was in Wisconsin he couldn't get an adult beverage despite being 50 because he left his ID at the hotel:S. Maybe it depends on the place. I don't think there's an official law.

I'm just gonna say, 'cause everyone says it about Australia... Nanny State! The rules are fine, the IDing people who are obviously adults is a bit ridiculous. And selling it at an amusement park, that's unheard of. Do you really sell it in chemists/pharmacies? We have rules that attempt to reduce overindulgence, but they never work. The clubs just take the money and refill.
I just looked one up. Yep, they're R movies. I probably wouldn't recommend them. They can be very offensive. If you can stomach it, then go for. I've watched them, but I'm not from the USA, so I don't have the same sort of feelings towards certain terms and phrases. The rating seems pretty suitable, Australia only gave it an MA15+.

We should probably end this chat considering we are talking about adult beverages and R movies:P. I mean, we aren't mentioning specific ones or talking about them in an inappropriate way, but still.

Just watched Going in Style, posting it here because it reminds of this chatroom. It's about senior citizens robbing a bank. Maybe we should do something stupid together here:P. JK:P!
