I never considered myself an old timer... but maybe, I guess that depends on who's defining it.
I don't know what the qualifications are. Maybe I'm an old timer too.
When I think of LMB old timers I think of those people who were around since like 2010 or before. I posted a little bit in 2011 and 2012, but wasn't active until late 2015.

The qualifications have changed quite a bit.
First it was a "club" for those with the LEGO Message Boards rank "Old Timer". Posting was much, much slower, if you had the rank of Old Timer, that meant you had been around a long time, worked hard at making quality posts, and were a pillar of the community. Designerdude101 comes to mind for such qualifications.
Then it was for anyone who was active pre-2010 or had been on the boards 2+ years.
Then it was for anyone before the 2012 updates.
Then (when this site first opened) it was for anyone who wanted to reminisce about the boards we all missed.
Now it's basically for anyone who wants to slow down and talk to other oldies, regardless of their LEGO.com account age.
So it's a retirement home now. A good place to chat because it's so slow. :P

OK, good to know. I wouldn't qualify at first, but perhaps now.

Ah yes. I like this topic. It has a charm to it.
I joined in 2015, so I unfortunately wasn't able to experience pre-update LMB. Though, I think it's a good thing I wasn't on in 2010, because I think I was around 5 years old then. Were there any five year olds on the LMBs?
Do you know if Designerdude101 is still around anywhere?
