Hm. . . well, one thing you could consider doing is volunteering at a local horse stable or animal shelter. That would give you good experience with animals (I know you already have experience with animals, but you probably know what I mean ) and you could look into jobs that concerns the animals you're comfortable with. Another option, obviously, is writing stories. You're getting great experience writing Gravitation, but you could learn more if you took an English writing class, or even an art class to strengthen your creative illustration skills. That could get you set up for writing published novels and/or children's books; it's never too late to start learning.
Honestly, though, you know you better than I do. . . what the most important thing to do about the situation right now, I think, is to pray about it.
