*Franz Conrad, made way to the CPB headquarters in the lion city*
*Rico decided to visit the headquarters of BBC (Bear Broadcasting Corporation)*
*Gorvan crossed the desert to inform the raven report of this*
*At CPB HQ*
Franz Conrad: *Enters* Hello I would like to speak with Jean-Jacque Louis, I have an important story for him and the rest of the CPB crew.
Secretary: Jean-Jacque is busy writing a report about corruption, he asked not to be disturbed.
Franz Conrad: Believe me this is major. *Points to his high ranking military orders on his chest*
Secretary: Fine, *Enters Jean’s office* Mr.Louis. Some high ranking gorilla royalist has a story for you.
*Jean-Jacque Louis quickly exits his office*
Jean-Jacque Louis: You have no right to arrest me, I am an independent reporter, writing an independent paper! And I shall not listen to your propaganda!
Franz Conrad: I have a story to tell you.
Jean-Jacque Louis: No. Lies!
Franz Conrad: *Grabs his hand and begins to twist it*
Jean-Jacque Louis: Ahh! Please stop. I listen. I listen
Franz Conrad: Lets speak about this in your office, with some coffee.
*They enter his office and Franz Conrad tells him the full story*
Jean-Jacque: This is… well this… a big story to say the least, I mean I knew about the army, but the idea that the bears are trying to avoid foreign sanctions, isolation and negative public opinion through such a scheme. Well its different.
*Rico, successfully informs the BBC, which instantly makes it into their radio programming*
*Gorvan’s informancy makes it into the weekly issue of the raven report*
*Jean-Jacque Louis, hurried to Catalan, so did the bear reporter, Bilbo* (I just like all characters having names)
*JJ is stopped by bear army officers in Catalan*
Officer: Excuse me, your type is not allowed.
JJ Louis: What do you mean I have every right here? Are you now anti-lion?
Officer: No sir, reporters are not allowed, now leave *Points blaster at him*
JJ Louis: But Catalan has freedom of the press, I am fully allowed here.
Officer: *Stunned by response* well… uh
Officer 2: We HAD freedom of press no longer do.
JJ Louis: And what rank are you?
Officer 2: I am a Colonel in the bear army.
JJ Louis: Ah, so its your order.
Officer 2: Nope, Bane Bridger, the Field Marshall in charge of all of this gave out this order to all.
JJ Louis: Ah so its of very high importance why I am not allowed
Officer 2: Yes
JJ Louis: Well, I will leave now then. *He was secretely recording the conversation this entire time*
*Bilbo meets JJ Louis, and Louis informs him of the story and copys and gives him a second tape of the recording*
*Bilbo makes way to another patrol, before getting stopped*
Officer 3: Sorry sir, you cant go here.
Bilbo: I am from BBC please, take me to your commander there.
Bane Bridger: I’m the Field Marshall in charge of everything here.
Bilbo: Why are you, not allowing reporters?
Bane Bridger: This is a military zone.
Bilbo: Not it isn’t this is a civilian area, there are civilians everywhere here
Bane Bridger: Who do you work for?
Bilbo: I work for the BBC.
Bane Bridger: *Suddenly gets very angry* Look I know people, you think you know, but you don’t, if you don’t get outta here right now, Im gonna shut you down.
Bilbo: Fine, I back off, I back off *He leaves, however he also secretely recorded the conversation*
*The recordings are published in the evening by, CPB and BBC on their radio broadcasts, many hear this story*
ShamrockTheFirstDecadebatonmaster500The J *The next day, strikes begin all across the bear lands, there were many signs held up such as: “What are you hiding?” “We believe in the press” and many other signs were also held up, about 20,000 prtotestors marched through the caves and strees*
*At the Bear palace*
Bladvic IV: How do I look?
Wife: You look great, don’t worry, don’t worry about a thing.
Bladvic IV: Ok Im Ready. *Walks out onto the balcony to speak with the protestors*
*The people go silent, Bladvic is being filmed the camera is zoomed in onto him*
Bladvic IV: Greetings people of my Kingdom, this is a message to you my loyal subjects. There recently have been stunning incidents of… *He begins to sweat* … of our army, well… *He began to sweat more, and wiping his head with a small towel* …restricting access to the press, aswell as… creating an atmosphere of… tension.
*People start yelling from the back of the crows*
Bladvic IV: It is very important… for everyone to… understand the situation, and uh… well, *He begins to stutter* … and not rush to conclusions, or assume… fables… well, as fact… uhh.. it is unhealthy… to *He is given a second towel*
*More and more people begin to yell, some whistling*
Bladvic IV: The… reason for the… situation…. Is classified… as it is of high… uh well… of high military importance…. However the issue…. Is…. Being handled… uhhh…. Well, uhh
*Angry at the secrecy and lack of information all the protestors began to yell, and shout at the King*
Bladvic IV: *Desperately trying to finish his speech* Uhh… carefully… and uhh.. the press should… be allowed… to enter… uh sometime soon… uh, thank you. *Leaves the balcony*
*Back in Catalan*
George IV: *Panicked* What do we do?
Bane Bridger: I don’t know, the kings massive mess up on his report might bring down the entire state.
George IV: You know, if you never blocked access to those reporters, we would have never gotten into this mess and it would have blown over like any other small story
Bane Bridger: No, what would have happened is that the press, would have lied and said the nationalists did it, and we would have gotten the exact same story, except nationalists striking because they wouldn’t want the bear “occupier”, because on the books it says the factories are for us. The books don’t say its for the monarchists.
George IV: I guess you’re right.
*Meanwhile Bismarck decided to take a weeks leave to attend his cousins wedding, instead he got the shipping documents of arms, and headed to the CPB headquarters in the lion city, to report the scheme to the CPB*
Bismarck: Good evening, Chima. I am Lieutenant of the royal army, Bismarck Ottomotoroyulusgrandedeliussusawesomusirolikorus Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch, I was one of 3 security supervisors of the government built Catalan factory BR-1, which recently had an incident, the press, was not allowed to investigate, and there is a reason why, in my hands, there are some papers, these papers, were smuggled out of the factory. The factory was built, officially by the government of Catalan, and produce small arms, from a company called Royal Burundi, at the same time, Royal Burundi officially received aid from the bear kingdom, to expand in Catalan, is it such a stretch to assume the factory was joint project. Now as a security supervisor, I was to ensure the security of the building aswell as the security of the delivery. The shipments were delivered to a small garrison near the gorilla border, where they would be offloaded to a gorilla monarchist train. Yes, you heard me right the bear government which officially declared its neutrality, actually supported, the gorilla monarchy through this excuse.
ShamrockTheFirstDecadeThe Jbatonmaster500 *That day a mere hour later, the press secretary conformed all that Bismarck said, on the Catalan radio, and then resigned*
*The next day, disaster swept, Catalan and the bears*
*In bear lands*
*There are tens of thousands of protestors, way more than yesterday although 30% of bears supported the monarchists, 50% were opposed, and another 20% supported them. This put Bladvic IV in a lot of hot water*
Bladvic IV: What am I supposed to do? What am I supposed to do?
Brake Bridger: Why not do as the protestors say?
Bladvic IV: What do you mean?
Brake Bridger: Abdicate.
Bladvic IV: Your mad, that’s mad.
Brake Bridger: Us bears have a reputation for laziness. If the bears feel so strongly about this that they would get up and stand in massive crowds to protest. They probably don’t like you.
Bladvic IV: Well for what do they not like me
Brake Bridger: For you lying to the people, and when exposed you shut down the BBC. Fired Bismarck and arrested his family.
Bladvic IV: That bear, has not right being with us!
Brake Bridger: Maybe so, but he is seen as a symbol to the bears, a symbol of freedom.
Bladvic IV: *Breathes out* Fine. I will abdicate and give my throne, to my son.
Brake Bridger: Hopefully that will quell the people.
*Bladvic IV steps out on to the balcony of his palace, and says to the people, he has some notes prepared, to keep him on track*
*The crowd goes silent*
Bladvic IV: My fellow citizens, following increased tensions, over the incident of our army and government in Catalan. I Bladvic IV *Tears appear in his eyes* shall step down from my position as the Royal Regent, and King of the bears.
*There is massive cheers in the crowd*
Bladvic IV: *Feeling insulted* The position of regent will be granted later today, upon my eldest son, Bladvic V.
*The cheers stop, at first there is some bickering amongst the crowd, then someone begins to chant O-ver-throw*
*The crowd quickly picks up the chant, soon some of enough they storm the palace, the 40 guards guarding the entirety of the palace, were quickly toppled by the massive mob, the Kings statue being smashed, within minutes the mob, and the defected guards have arrested the King his family and most of his ministers, Brake Bridger fled, just in time, to avoid capture*
Shamrockbatonmaster500TheFirstDecadeThe J *Following Bismarck’s confession and the press secretary’s comformation, the protests in Catalan were far greater and far worse, than in the bear lands*
*Their were thousands of signs being carried, anything from “Liar!”, “Impeach!” or “Our country not a puppet” their were many more also carried*
*At the Catalan Palace*
*The calm, strong willed, and strong minded George IV is in a massive panic*
George IV: *Panicked* I am so so dead, there is no way this will finish well. *Hits his telephone* Why wont Bane answer me? *Screams at the phone* Answer me! *The phone rings, he picks it up* Yes hello?
Secretary: Sir, there appears to be an angry mob ravaging the city
George IV: Tell me something I don’t know
Secretary: Well, lets just say our people aren’t the only in this mob
George IV: What do you mean!? *He was calm before on the phone, now he panicks*
Secretary: Well, the army joined them, the red army.
George IV: *Slams his phone back down* Grrr! *He is mad now* Bane!!! Don’t leave me!!!
*A car pulls up to the palace, a brown bear with 2 guards comes out*
George IV: Bane! He is finally here. Ok time to look professional. *He adjusted his royal suit, sits down behind his desk, puts on glasses, and begins to do some paperwork*
Bane Bridger: George its bad and I mean like real bad.
George IV: *Very calm* Are you talking about those strikers, they will be angry for a day maybe a week then they will disperse, after I break off the alliance with the bears, and you send back most of your troops.
Bane Bridger: *Chuckles* I don’t think so…
George IV: *Raises eyebrow* Why not?
Bane Bridger; George, you failed to control, your people, and your nation.
George IV: You have to be kidding.
Bane Bridger: Am I?
George IV: *Realising Bane is serious* Oh no….
*The guards and bane point their guards, George IV’s personal security does the same*
George IV: How traitorous…
Bane Bridger: *Smiles* arrest him! Now bring in the cameras. Its time for my announcement.
*George IV is taken away*
*Bane Bridger appears on the TV*
Bane Bridger: Hello, fellow citizens of Catalan. I am Bane Bridger, I come here to inform you, that Prince George IV, of Catalan, has abdicated due to the turmoil. I will take command from now on, this is not a military coup. Prince George and his family are safe and sound. There is nothing to worry about, I suggest all protestors disperse and go back to work, as the situation can and most likely will, get worse. Thank you.
*Off camera*
Bane Bridger: Bring in everything.
*This message led some to the factorys, but it led a lot more to the streets*
*Tin-Man square named after a famous Catatlan book of the same name, is occupied by hundreads if not thousands of protestors*
*Bane Bridger is watching from above in his zepellin*
Bane Bridger: *Looking annoyed*
Servant: What will you do, sir?
Bane Bridger: *Smirks* Declare martial law. Bring in the big guns. Noon is in 2 hours by then I don’t want there to be one man on the square.
Servant: As you please.
*In about half an hour there are tanks approaching the streets*
*Conrad went south-west to meet up with Gokart, and Gary & friends went back to Timbo, so it was just Rico, and Gorvan who would see true terror with their eyes*
*Much of the state police, who were sent in to diffuse the situation have defected*
*Tanks, begin to move towards the square*
*Citizens begin to run, some stay*
*As the tanks roll down the street approaching the square, Rico, stands in their way*
*The line of tanks halts before Rico*
Rico: *Breathes out* *Climbs on top of tank and opens the top*
Tank man: Who are you?
Rico: Who is your commander?
Tank man: Why do you care?
Rico: Who is your commander?
Tank man: Why do you care?
Rico: Who is your commander?
Bane Bridger: ME!
Rico: Hello there.
Bane Bridger: *Pulls out 2 valiants* You should say bye, for you will die.
Rico: *Pulls out spear*
Bane Bridger: *Jumps up with his valiants*
Rico: *Blocks with his spear*
Bane Bridger: *Spins around, and slashes Rico’s spear in half*
Rico: Oh boy.
Bane Bridger: *Cuts off his head like Virtruvius's is from the lego movie*
Gorvan: *Gasps*
Bane Bridger: Hahahah. Arrr *Gets shot in the back before he turns to face Gorvan*
Gorvan: *Stunned* *Turns around*
Bisamarck: *Breathes out* Its done…. *Leaves*
*Catalan would soon fall to the republic, George IV fled to the land of the rhinos, and Gorvan would lead the local militas of Catalan*
batonmaster500The JTheFirstDecadeShamrock Narrator: Since the death of Boris Gorki Godunov, who was executed following his failed rescue of Sato, and the salvaging of all gorilla ships except the Imperial I, including the ones that were shipwrecked on the island, aswell as saving the troops who survived the battle of Atrakhan there were a lot of able, capable soldiers, and they needed a job. So Grand Admiral Alexander Gulikovosky, decided to form his own army. This army was only loyal to him. And he was loyal only to Gibbs, who in theory was loyal to the crown. The army wore full white uniforms and consisted of 420 soldiers. 4 battalions of 105, each, 7 platoons per battalion. However this is not your average platoon and battalion, for the white army is smart. Platoons are specialised. There is a rocket platoon, grenadier platoon, mortar platoon and 4 regular platoons, equipped with bayonetted-blasters. Defeating a battalion is very hard. Their leaders can be identified, through squares on a special insignia, (The squares are the same as the imperial navy) red squares were at the top of the insignia and blue at the bottom, 1 of each – regular soldier, 2 – each Platoon sergant, 3 – each platoon leader/ major, 4 -each batalllion leader/ general. They were called by their identification codes.
*The 3rd white battalion is making way towards an armaments*
General: We must crush that rebel, Conrad.
*The battalion makes way to the factory*
General: Mortar force! Shoot down the roof!
*The mortar force, shoots down the roof*
*The republicans head outside*
*The grenadier platoon, shoots at the just escaped republicans*
*Both sides begin to fire their blasters*
*A massive fire fight begins*
Franz Conrad: We are loosing more of our men, then they are losing.
Gokart II: What should we do?
*The rocket platoon blows up the factory behind them sending them all flying*
General: Every single troop charge them with bayonets!
Franz Conrad: Its time to flee! *They begin to run away*
*And so marked the first of many defats of the red army to the white army*

Did you read all of it? If so thanks, should I tag you?
You missed one, BBC - Bear Broadcasting Corporation, which is pretty obvious
I enblodened the correct ones, and italicied those which I didn't realise
The fight scene in chapter 8 was inspired by a star wars battle, the kindapping of palpatine, in the old star wars clone wars cartoon (2003)
George IV - was named George because I needed more names that began on G. (Side note: If you have suggestions send them in)
Coffee, Chocolate, sugar, palm oil and pineapples (the full list) are all cash crops, and thus a great way to fund a war.
Gao - is both the currency and a revolutionary (incase someone got confused) and is named after the Inidian city and former Portugese colony of Gao, the only place in India where people mostly speak portugese.

I must have been distracted when I read about the BBC. I watched that old cartoon series, twice. Really nice little thing. As for the cash crops, you can also make fuel out of sugar cane, which could help with improvised weaponry.
And finally, Gao. I remember studying about it when they talked about the Portuguese Empire at school.

Whatever you studied was sure, a lot more than I did. XD I learned most of the cultured stuff myself, I always have had a thought, do you live in French Guiana?
