... I am fully aware I haventy posted in 3 days, and no its not because I have given up or cant think of anything. I wrote out 9 more posts, covering the next 6 chapters (yes, some several part chapters) and we are approaching about 70% of the war, I am just way too lazy to publish them right now, but I promise to publish them tomorrow.
*A meeting of the highest military staff is being held in the republic*
Che Gurrira: This war is now almost a year long, we need to do something.
Gorbav; We have drained much of the resources of our enemy, their ally in Catalan, and the bears is gone, their £ has hit hyper inflation whilst our Goa, is extremely stable and reliable. They pay their workers in IOU’s we pay ours actual wages, and give them food through rations.
Che Gurrira: That’s all well and good but aside from us securing our North-Eastern border, capturing Catalan, and takin much of the South we have had many major territorial victories.
Franz Conrad: The White Army is a huge problem, Gokart has been out in the fields for weeks and we haven’t made any headway against them, we found out recently that they turned one of their regular blaster platoons, into a flame thrower one, and that has laid havoc on our forces, and has required us to spend money to stop fires and compensate farmers.
Gorbav: Yes, this is an issue, we must also make an offensive from the North, although we have extremely successfully secured Catalan. We need to go on the offensive.
Franz Conrad: We need foreign aid, the rhinos have bailed out the monarchists twice, their Mauve alliance as some call it, is a major threat.
Gorbav: Yeah, the eagles aren’t the best of allies, rather unreliable to say the least, and foreign donations have been going down…
Che Gurrira: Ok so we have established our current objectives: 1) Take more territory 2) Knock out the White Army. 3) Push from the North 4) Break up the Mauve Alliance and 5) Get new allies.
Gorbav: Yep, that’s all the objectives and that will be a very hard task with our strategy of just Guerilla warfare, we haven’t been able to secure much power, when we do it is quickly taken back. So any ideas?
*There are confused looks and shrugs between them*

Ghana: I have a solution to all of these problems.
Gorbav: Well, that is great to hear, why don’t you lay it out General Ghana?
Ghana: I call it the “Great Push” *Explains her idea*
Gorbav: Great idea! I would rather call it the “Ghana Offensive”.
ShamrockFelipeDutraegorsmirnovTheFirstDecadebatonmaster500The J *The offensive was created by General Ghana, on the 7th of April, after over a month of training, practice, refinement, and massive spending of the surplus that Gorbav gathered over the past year or so, on May 10th exactly 1 year after the war began the offensive was set into motion*
*The first attack began on the South, 90% of all worker fighter groups were sent there, mostly the now massive number of farmer plattons, their main goal was to advance as rapidly as possible, several dozen new platoons were made, solely for this battle, their main goal was to just head directly East non-stop*
*In the North West the command was given over to Franz Conrad and Gokart II, their main objective was to push South East and Secure the river that leads directly East to the Gorilla HQ, securing this river was vital as it was an important strategic position both economically and militarily, and would prove pivotal later on*
*In the North West aswell Che Gurrira was put in charge of the Black Hats, who were a special forces of the gorilla republic, who were mainly equipped with Molotov cocktails, and hand grenades, and their main job was to harass the white army, into submission/surrender*
*And finally the last offensive led by General Ghana, and President Gorbav, they would head from the South and head up North to the river, to be located right across from the 2nd offensive that were led by Franz Conrad and Gokart II, and take the important chokepoint of Bass Rock, and then secure the river from the South*
Chapter 47 – The Long March (The next few chapters will basically each offensive described in 1 chapter, as they were mostly just walking and capturing minor targets) ShamrockFelipeDutraegorsmirnovTheFirstDecadebatonmaster500The J *May 10th the offensive begins*
*The Long March codenamed for the Eastern Push from the South, was possibly the front with the largest amount of troops, although their wasn’t a single battalion on the front, it consisted of an estimated 91 platoons, (if assembled 13 battalions)*
Gary Czesku: *At the start of the offensive Gary radioed the other platoon leaders* We need to push as fast as possible, plunder the land as you continue, we will not get resupplied, and we need to push before the Khan and his armys will ravage the peasnats and workers of the south
*There was little and most often no resistance, the land they conquered were mostly small sustenance farmers, growing corn, and bananas, with the occasional minor cocoa plantation*
*About 1 week into the war, Gary and 2 other platoons entered a small cocoa plantation, maybe 10 hectares large*
Gary Czesku: Yes, finally a major take over.
Worker: Thank you, thank you, so much, do you have much food? We have been getting paid in IOU’s and food deliveries happen only about once a month, we have exhausted our large food stash already, and overthrown our leader.
Gary Czesku: Oh, well we were hoping you would have food for us, we have mostly just been plundering for sustenance… We raided a barracks with 45 rifles, we already formed up 1 platoon, and if you want to we can form up 2 more, and you can continue pillaging the country side until we can get adequate transport to resupply you.
Worker: Well, if we want to live we have not many more options. *2 platoons form up and leave the coffee plantation*
*Over the course of the offensive they faced only 1 major battle, and that was Khan’s second army force attempting to smash their lines, however Khan badly over estimated his forces, and pushed in with tanks, and air support, along with the popularised flame thrower core, to try and push out the farmer platoons who pushed so far*
*Khan’s offencive was a massive failure, as he was soon out of supply’s since his men wasted most to buy out the support of locals in the region*
*Khan’s army was rapidly surrounded and many of his commanders would be unable to keep their army together as the tanks would break down, the flame throwers ran out of plant oils to burn, and the air force was sent up North*
*The offensive was largely peaceful, rather peaceful with only minor battles aside from that, this offensive did however strain the most resources, as the republicans were forced to send a tonne of aid, to ensure the farmers wouldn’t rebel to the monarchists, causing massive strain on republican resources*
*Many generals would condemn the offensive due to the ridiculous strain on resources and low return which could be used elsewhere*
*The North-Western offensive was possibly the most valuable push of the entire Ghana offensive, it was given the nickname: “Iron Fist” as it was pivotal to victory in the war*
*The offensive spear headed by Colonel Franz Conrad, and General Gokart, the offensive’s main objectives were to recover land lost to the White Army, this would be done by securing a lot of factories in the region, (although it wasn’t a very industrial region it did have some factories) The major objective was securing vital strategic pathways aswell as, securing, the massive grain basket, that helped feed the massive population of the gorillas, and cut off the moanrchists off their major source of food, they also secured the Northern half of the lower river, which leads to the HQ, and is a major source of coffee and cocoa*
*The offensive consisted of 6 battalions, making up 630 men total, and being so close to the river gave them a major advantage to their army, as they could be resupplied and supported by the small yet significant defected river boat fleet that was patrolling the river, this advantage allowed huge success to the army, with few casulaties on their side*
*The front was also very narrow, which meant that securing a successful push would be easy however the biggest obstacle would soon become the huge amount of men needed to ensure that they weren’t flanked from behind*
*Their were many battles over the open field, mostly lead by General Krell, and with future air support from Gorring*
(He used camouflaged troops working in pairs, who wore black hats and were called: “The Black Hats” – original, I know, they were equppied with a small satchel, which had binoculars and a radio, they also carried 6 grenades a chi pistol, and had a mess kit for food, the pairs patrolled together, an circle of 1km radius, this way they had little land to cover and oculd quickly group up/ pass along information)
(The black hats at most 5 kilos (10 lb) on themselves, meanwhile every white army, soldier carried closed over 40 kilograms (88 lb) on their backs, which made them less mobile)
*First night, against the 1st White Battalion*
*A black hat had detected where the 1st battalion was located, he radioed his allies*
*Whilst the 1st battlion was a sleep 40 black hats, threw their grenades down*
*The White army was awoken in a panic they began to shoot, the black hats quickly dispersed*
*For 2 more nights these attacks would continue, until every white army soldier was told to eat pure caffeine and sugar to not fall asleep*
*This resulted in a very tired and exhausted white army, which was easily picked off by random black hats using small blaster fire and grenades*
*The 1st battalion surrendered having lost 70 men in total, 0 black hats*
(The 3rd battalion which knocked out Franz Conrad, and Gokart’s forces was smarter)
*They used the flamethrowers to clear up and always leave abut 200 metres (600 feet) of open land in a circle, they also had gasmasks, so didn’t really care about the massive amount of CO2, this meant you needed to come very close to attack, they also used long-range radios, to read up on their radio signals, and would wake up the soldiers if they believed an attack was imminent*
*However the black hats did pick them off very slowly whilst moving, a regular pair would run up and drop 4 grenades, at once, however they were sometimes caught*
*However due to the non-stop burning of fire wood, and really slow moving battalion, they were easy to locate*
*One eerie night, whilst the white battalion was sleeping, the night guard saw something strange, he saw bright lights, bright lights that were approaching very quickly*
Night guard 1: What are those?
Night guard 2: Campers.
Night guard 1: Should we tell em off?
Night guard 2: Go ahead. Ill stay here.
Night guard 1: *Sees the lights rapidly coming towards them*Those aren’t no, campers, those are… jeeps!
Night guard 2: wake up the men!
*3 jeeps started driving right around the circle, non-stop shooting the campsite*
*Some dropships pull in also firing down*
Night guard 2: We Surrender!!!
*The shooting stops only 52 white battalion soldiers survived*
*The 2nd a 4th white army battalion, were at Timbo, incase revolutionaries arrived there*
*Gorbav and General Ghana headed from the South to the North to secure the southern half of the river that leads directly to the gorilla HQ, this was necessary if he was going to secure a victory*
*They had about 32 of the most experienced platoons, consisting, of military police and military defectors, their main opponent, was the rhino army of Rhino General Ryan McCracker XXX*
*General Ryan, and commander Ryloth decided to station themselves just far away from the sea, to be out of range of the republican river navy, but just close enough to the coast that they cant be encircled from either sea or land*
*They chose the tiny town of only about 100 gorillas, called Bass Rock*
Ryloth: General, are you sure this is a great idea?
Ryan: Of course. We will crush them here, I heard their own leader Gorbav will come here, and on this rock, I shall slay him.
Ryloth: Sir, the republicans have had great success basically everywhere, up North General Krell forces were defeated over a dozen times.
Ryan: That is because Krell, is a fool, he is the first of his family name to be of greatness, I on the other hand, darling have 30 generations of success bestowed upon me, once I destroy the republicans, I shall write a book: “The great tactician” I shall call it or maybe “The man to stop the Red Terror” or just “Red Terror”
Ryloth: That sounds all well and fine sir, but what is the plan when they arrive here. So far we have just been sending our Flingers, to shoot a bit and then retreat. What is your plan for this offensive.
Ryan: Simple *Gets up on a 10 foot rock, called Bass Rock, and proclaims* They come, and we win!
Ryloth: Sir, that’s a very vague plan.
Ryan: *Jumps down* Vague, you say, well I find that mad, I think my plan just so happens to be great.
Ryan: We shall shatter the hun like Ryan McCracker 12th shattered the King Of Thieves
Ryloth: What does that have to do with anything?
Ryan: It boost the men’s morale everyone has heard of the Ryan McCracker dynasty.
Ryloth: No, no one has.
Ryan: Did you not pay attention in class, they teach it in school.
Ryloth: Maybe in yours but….
*Meanwhile at the gorilla side*
Gorbav: They don’t appear to be really doing much….
Ghana: I think the rhino commander is asleep
Gorbav: Neither the lesser, Men! Get the RA Qing’s and pummel the armoured cars.
*The Rocket Artillery, begins to throw down a shower of rockets upon the rhinos*
Gorbav: Grenadiers! Pummel their trench line.
*The grenadiers begin to fire down in rhino trenches, some rhinos begin to retreat*
*Back at the rhino side*
Ryan: And that is how Ryan McCracker the 15th invented the Ham and Cheese sandwich, now..
Ryloth: Sir!
Ryan: Don’t interrupt me!
Ryloth: Sir, our men are retreating!
Ryan: What!? All Rhino Flingers engage the infantry, infantry back them.
*The Rhino flingers engage back with rhino infantry*
*A gorilla counter attack of rushing with infantry begins, as grenades bounce off the flingers*
*Ryan McCracker tells the speedor core, to surround the enemy and strike from behind*
*Gorbav calls for gunships, armed with rocket launchers instead of the usual turrets*
*Rhino Infantry under Ryloth retreats back behind the trench lines and village to take a more strategic position*
*Rhino flingers are picked off rapidly, as many cant even counter attack their enemies properly*
*Rhino Flingers, concentrate all force on the gunships, allowing many of them to turn into metal fortresses as there wheels are blasted off by the infantry*
*The infantry, is now on the opposite sides of the trench line, shooting at each other hiding behind bushes, trees and small rocks*
Ryan: *Comes out from behind Bass Rock, with Valiant and shield in hands* *He rushes in to the trench line, his shield deflecting gorilla blaster fire, and his sword knocking out several with one swing*
Gorbav: Oh no you don’t! *Rushes to the front line with Valiant and Shield in hands*
Ryan: *Steps back behind the Trench line*
Gorbav: *Leaps over the trench line, and they begin sword fighting*
Ryan: *Begins to climb Bass Rock with his back*
Gorbav: *Pushes on the offensive*
Ryan: You will never knock me out *They are now duelling on Bass Rock*
Gorbav: Now wont I.
Ryan: Wait what?
Gorbav: *Knocks Ryan’s valiant out and swings for Ryan’s neck*
Ryloth: *Shoots and knocks out Gorbav’s Valiant*
Ryan: *Leaps off Bass Rock* Retreat!!!
Ryloth: Yes sir!
Gorbav: Do not Pursue!!! *He yells standing on top of Bass Rock*
Ghana: What? Why?
Gorbav: We do not want to make the rhinos mad.
*Ryloth and Ryan begin to drive off*
*Monarchist Gorilla Gunships fly up, and shoot down most of the rhino turbo tank*
Ghana: Oh no.
Gorbav: *Smiles*
*The doors gunships open up revealing Gong Krell inside the gunship and they begin to fire non-stop at the turbo tanks, knocking out several turbo tanks, including the turbo tank, on which both Ryan and Ryloth are*
Ryloth: *Gets of a speedor and drives off North*
Ryan: *Gets into a speedor and drives South*
*Krell’s gunship flys up to Ryan’s speedor*
Gong Krell: *Jumps onto Ryan’s speedor* Hello there!
Ryan: Krell, what are you doing?
Gong Krell: doing what is right *Swerves the speedor and then jumps off*
Ryan: *Screams* *Then crashes his speedor*
Gong Krell: Great to see you Mr.President.
Ghana: *Pulls up with troops* Why are you here?
Gong Krell: I revolted from the monarchists, over the past months I have set up offensives for disaster to assist you, and I have managed to take most of the private monarchist donations, and have been sending them your way.
Ghana: Gorbav, you knew about this?
Gorbav: *Jumps down the rock* Well, yeah.
Gong Krell: Most of my mech forces have revolted with me, it will be a pleasure serving you.
