Now that I have caught up with the topic, I see some new revelations that are most intruiging. It seems we have a few options. I will post them all.
1) Allow all versions of a character as RPCs, such as TDK Batman, Injustice Superman, Noir Spider-Man, and MCU Nick Fury. The Prime characters are the in-general summary of a character, such as the ones claimed so far.
2) Ban all alternate versions, including those listed above. Only allow the singular characters who can change between the alternate versions at will.
3) Ban them altogether and keep only the primary versions.
4) Ban the alternatives that are essentially the same as the primaries, such as TDK Batman and MCU Iron Man, but allow alternate realities, such as Noir Spider-Man and Injustice Superman. Note: Alternate RPCs would be approved and released for claiming by the RCC, to keep out identical copies of the primary RPC.
So just vote 1, 2, 3, or 4. If you have another opinion, please state it ASAP.
Also, the Amalgam Characters are nowhere near OP. They are simply combos of two characters. Also,OP is irrelevant. If a character has ever been defeated, then he is not OP and cannot be banned from the RP. So there.
I personally lean to 1. And I can give my reasons as well, in different continuity, Batman can be an entirely different Character, ranging from lighthearted Chummy Adam West, to a Brutal combatant like Ben Afflecks portrayal, then in Comixs we have the detective/Fighter combo in Killing Joke... Every character has different incarnations that turn them into nearly a different character.

i vote option two. i tend to think that this rp takes place in it's own universe, and therefore there should be one of each character that can basically represent all versions.

Is that supposed to be funny? Of course I was there. I was there back in 2012-15. I voted on the ORIGINAL Crossover Act proposed by Miwings. When Chef Batman was the Rep. When “Creating New HQ’s” was a thing. Don’t even hypothesise that I wasn’t there. It was the only place where I held sustained activity before I went inactive.
Obviously.
Of course it was. Nonetheless, the RP fell into ruin, and inactivity, and chaos. And I don't remember you, but I was relatively new. Anyway, Chef Batman went inactive, Creating New HQs flooded the forum with spam, the Crossover Act almost cut real MARVEL and DC characters out of the picture, and I knew you used to be there, but again, I didn't see you.
Clearly.
If I had been there, I would’ve saved it from devastation. What happened to Miwings?

First, I would argue that the Amalgam Universe defeats the purpose of having an RPC limit.
Second, I vote for 4.
I think in order to claim an Amalgam Universe character, a user must own the two characters that are in the combo (to have Thanoseid, you must own both Darkseid and Thanos).
Fair enough, yes, LEGO Batman is an interpretation of the Batman character. However, in order to gain ownership of that character one would have to claim Bruce Wayne, meaning that no one else should be able to claim Bruce Wayne. Z-Whales is the controller of the Bruce Wayne rpc as Z-Whales was the first to claim it.
LEGO Bruce Wayne is different to regular Bruce Wayne.
That's just like saying that 'regular' Bruce Wayne is different to Earth-3 Bruce Wayne (who is dead), Flashpoint Bruce Wayne (who is dead), Bruce Wayne '66, TDK Bruce Wayne, Bruce Wayne TAS, Bruce Wayne (The Batman), Earth-1 Bruce Wayne, Earth-2 Bruce Wayne, Year One Bruce Wayne, Arkham Asylum Bruce Wayne, Earth-X Bruce Wayne or any other interpretation of Bruce Wayne. As you said LEGO Batman is the interpretation of Batman in a LEGO universe, therefore, he is the same character and same rpc unless multiverse versions are allowed as separate rpcs.

I vote 4. I think characters from alternate dimenions and such should count as separate people, but different interpretations of the same character should not.
Yes, however I was not really thinking of him that way from the start, as I said somewhere else, only when I thought that different versions of characters might end up in this RP did I try to say mine was "LEGO Batman." Before then, everyone had been using their own personal interpretations of a character originating in Marvel or DC Comics. I had been picturing these RPCs as minifigs, since this is a LEGO Board, but I did not see them as the LEGO/spinoff versions of the characters.

Ooooh, got it. Thanks. I'll post it now. Edit: Nevermind, Ciar beat me to it.

Apparently.
Yeh, you probably would have. But many fell away. Including whoever this Miwings person was. I don't believe I knew him/her.

NO YOU FOOLS!!! An Amalgam character is a TOTALLY SEPARATE RPC than the other two!
