I was prepared to accept closure of the LMBE, though of course it would live on in the form of other websites perhaps... but again, in doing this, you allow the Message Boards to truly remain eternal.
I hereby vote for MasterOshawott as the new administrator, knowing she will make a good owner of such a fantastic site and the perfect candidate.
Though I am confused about a couple of things, I got a few messages saying the site is closing, and then one saying it's staying. Is it actually definitely staying? Or is the new site to take over? I thank any and all who can clear this up for me as it is rather confusing!
I'd honestly prefer this too. I'd rather we all politely talk about what to do with the admin account than all fight for it like this. This whole ordeal is ungodly chaos, I'd like out of it.
Is there any way to add a triumvirate to the vote or even some sort of "other" option? I don't think the job should be given to just one person.
Another example of poor planning. My only consolation is that this LMB community can stay together, hopefully under a more sane rule.
True, to be fair, the moderators should have never lost their job in the first place. It was just by poor leadership, such as astrokid demoting the co-owner and giving barely a reason as to why. Especially if Keplers came up with the idea for the LMBE in the first place.

Well, I spoke, and you all yelled back at me so loud I could hear it with my internet turned off.
It's becoming increasingly apparent to me that LMBE can stay alive with a transfer of ownership, so that's what this topic is for. You, the users of LMBE, are the community we exist for. That's why I think you should all be the ones to choose the new head admin of LMB Eternal! The winner will be given all authority on this site to do whatever they wish with. They may do absolutely nothing, they may turn LMBE into a dictatorship, they may fix everything up, or they may shut everything down. You'll have to ask them what they want to do.
Anyway, just vote for your top choice here. The vote will lock at 17:30 EDT... sorry I don't feel like converting time zones, but it's 24 hours and 15 minutes after I posted this.
Also if we find dupes voting, they will count negative. Actually they won't, they'll just all be dropped.
